Update: In an interview Rich Paul just said Bronny James won’t take a 2-way contract. If push comes to shove LA could still give him a roster spot with this build if it came to that
I think its shows he doesn't know defense we don't need a head coach who priority us not defense
This roster still has depth in my opinion. Yea I’m worried about the guard position n also the wing position because injuries r a thing . How much u want to put on Bron n AD because they gone be coming back from team USA
Trev, I'm a fan, but this build is trash. You're obviously still under the influence of Ham. Need better offense/defense mix… Plus, these point guards will not cut it!
Nope. The Lakers are falling further. JJ is LeTool. Keeping these role players doesn’t make sense anymore with how poorly enthused they played all year especially during the playoffs. Much of it is Ham’s fault. The role players best game was at Boston. The Lakers FO should just get out of this dwindling cycle by asking the Cavs to draft Bronny and trading LBJ to the Cavs for Mitchell. All media focus would be on the Cavs which the Lakers FO envies but it’s better to get out of this falling spiral and get the best out of the rest of the team, make them play up to their potential. Mitchell will get a good test in a Lakers uniform to see if he wants and is worthy of an extension. A one year rental may not be the ideal scenario but poor results wouldn’t be any different than where this Lakers ship is going as is. Prediction: the Lakers will just trade LBJ to whomever drafts Bronny for picks/assets. This forces LBJ to not opt out and keep the bag as well as play with his son. LBJ was worried about some team drafting Bronny forcing him to opt out and getting him to play for vet min. The Lakers trading LBJ to the team drafting Bronny will get all to do what they said they’ll do ( LBJ playing with Bronny, Lakers putting a bag on the table) and get what they really wanted (one last bag for LBJ, Lakers showing all stars like Taytum that the Lakers organization is a place to play big and retire) – the end to this drama series created by LBJ’s back stepping.

We all saw all the lakers games….AD is definitely top 5, and Bron is definitely not top 15. JJ cast that vote to benefit Bron, but he crapped on AD in the process.

I like all the candidates better than him. We never had a shot at coach b because the Lakers never really wanted him… As far as the roster… I think Spencer gets more then the min from some one. I don't like the JJ option, give me Sam Cassell because he's got the Moxie and the experience behind him. When he played he played above his paygrade and was a feisty leader on the court.

I understand this is a Lakers show and that you guys wanna suck off certain players no matter what but if you were honest with yourselves and had actually watched any basketball consistently outside of the Lakers you’d know that even though AD has the ability to be a top 10 or even top 5 defender this year he wasn’t. You could honestly make an argument he wasn’t even top 5 at his position this year.
