all right so I got a few DMS asking me my overall thoughts about Deonte and said hey did you see some of the things he’s posted lately where literally just a couple things they’re like well do do you think that he should come back to San Antonio what what what are your thoughts man I want [Music] some are we having fun yet all right so this would be a quick video okay really quick I I I there’s least brought to my attention was this post in particular in which he put some flame emojis to Wim banama uh winning first rookie he’s the first rookie NBA history to make First Team all defense um also the youngest to make any defensive team 20 years old d d d d da and I don’t know I I’ll be real I I think the only reason cuz people were like oh look he really wants to play wimi I don’t really get that from this I I don’t think Deonte I don’t think personally from everything that’s happened and the chain of events and how he went about things I don’t think the jontay Murray actually wants to come back to same Antonio I mean I I know that he flip-flop kind of Gaslight the fan base in a way where it’s like no I love the Spurs you know I I have nothing but love for the Spurs after literally going on an anti- Spurs podcast where everyone knows that’s what stepen Jackson was known for now he’s chilled out with it but that’s what he was known for uh yeah you you don’t really buy that I don’t think he wants to come back to San Antonio um basically saying that Derek white was a a suck up to pop and that’s the only reason why he got it’s it’s all of it’s silly but most importantly I think the reason why he responded to this is cuz his name was in it I mean it says replacing Deonte Murray’s 2018 season uh with the Spurs so it it it was just a way of saying oh yeah cool you know he he replaced me but like I’m on this list like I I me personally I think that’s all it really was I’m not sitting here trying to be a jerk I don’t know if you can hear that that was my cat’s uh food dispensing um yeah I’m I’m not trying to be a jerk or anything but I I really think that’s why he responded there were so many other posts mentioning that Victor W bayama won NBA like he made NBA history but he chose this one cuz you know his name was on it he’s also um in that category which you know a huge accomplishment not trying to take away from anybody but I think that’s really the main thing but you can see people in the comments you know some like it’s time to come home it is not time to come home guys it is not time it does not make sense DJ doesn’t fit with what San Antonio Spurs are doing you know do not have recency bias here okay we got to keep things in perspective and you know the Spurs trading him I don’t really think the front office is that crazy about him and I don’t think he’s that crazy about the front office with with a lot of the subliminals that were thrown out there um you know through you know social media and so many other things and also look he’s on the same stuff okay I I this isn’t the worst thing in the world okay there there’s plenty of players in the NBA that I truly don’t like I don’t I don’t even know if dejonte Murray is one of those where it’s like I I hate him as a player or anything um because on the court I feel like for the most part he plays the right way with us at times he could be a little selfish but I think I think he plays the right way for the most part I I’m not really angry with him or hate him or anything and there’s M much worse guys out there like you know Draymond Green who literally actively tries to you know hurt people uh that I despise Draymond um as a player and his his opinions are also pretty terrible too most of the time uh but dejonte Murray he’s on the same stuff I mean the whole okay Jazz turned down to jonte Murray trade involving keontay George don’t believe everything you see on this dumb internet he did the same thing with with us when we knew that he was getting ready to get traded and he he went out of his way to say oh no that’s not true oh that might be true they was just like come on man just just stop it’s irritating I just think I just think culturally we we’ve moved on you know he he’s in a different situation now um he’s getting the love that he deserves from Hawks fans I feel like Hawks fans have been pretty uh respectful towards him uh hopefully they can figure something out if they decide to trade Trey young or if they tra trade de jonte which looks like it’s probably going to be inevitable that they trade dejonte uh and if they trade de jonte then there is no more Trey Young by the way I I we’re not getting Trey young uh but but yeah so we just have to wait and see uh what’s going on there but as far as de jonte coming back to the Spurs I don’t think that that’s a reality nor do I think that it is worth it so you guys can let me know what you think I know I’ll probably get a little bit of hate for this only because I’m so pessimistic when it comes to DJ like I I’m just I’m a huge skeptic um I I don’t know I I I’m a I’m a believer that if someone shows you who they are just believe him okay and and as soon as he leaves the Spurs it’s not like he was like a 19-year-old kid as soon as he left the Spurs that’s what he went and did so I I’m just going to believe you know what what he showed uh initially so anyways I will get with you guys
