Will be a dirty draft when the Spurs trade Keldon and some future draft capital to Houston for the #3 pick, and end up drafting Risacher at 3, Castle at 4, and Salaun at 8.

Why do people keep thinking Keldon has real trade value? I love the man, but nobody is giving us anything of value for Keldon, if he goes anywhere it’s as salary filler at this point. He has reached his ceiling, which is possible role player on a contender, and solid 2nd team attitude.

Realistically the only way you’re getting the 3rd pick is if you’re swapping the 4th + assets for it.

This, but Dillingham instead of Salaun

It’s telling a team wanting to trade out of the 3 slot

It feels weird saying this, but in this draft I honestly don’t know if the #3 is worth Keldon.

Sign me way the hell up for this. Will be hard rooting against kj on the rockets but life uh finds a way.

I’m not so sure Houston would be willing to trade with a division rival, just my opinion though.

Trading future capital to move up in this draft, to add three rookies on lottery scale contracts is gross

The idea of trading Keldon to the Rockettes makes me feel sad and dirty. I’d rather trade him to the Wiz along with the CHA pick or a couple of 2nds for their 2nd pick.

No need to trade up 1 spot, your gonna get just as good a prospect at 4 than you would at 3. This draft while I don’t think it’s bad and horrible like so many do the prospects are all pretty equal in their negatives and positives. I think this draft is gonna really depend on where the player goes. If a team has a good reputation for coaching guys up then they will probably succeed. No one in this draft will be good just because they are so talented like LeBron, etc.

I don’t think Risacher falls past Washington but if he does he’ll likely be there at 4. I think Reed is perfect for the Rockets and it might be drafting him high, but he’s the perfect fit to move on from Jalen Green.
Detroit will maybe go for Buzelis or big man and Charlotte seems like a pick for Cody Williams for some reason idk why it just feels like that’s the guy they’d pick. Portland could go any way but that also leaves a ton of good players for us to pick at 8 and whichever pick 9 or 10 we give up Keldon for we could possibly pick up Dillingham. We could possibly walk out with Castle, Saluan, and Dillingham. Which isn’t bad. I think if Risacher falls there’s a good chance we can get him at 4 and Castle at 8.

I don’t see why Houston would want to trade with us, being in the same division, the rivalry as well as the fallout of Wemby not wanting to go there (lol)

I’m a big fan of Keldon, but I can’t see why Houston would want him. They have both Amen and Whitmore who can provide the same type of offensive role, and need to keep getting more minutes into both, and Amen is a much better defender than Keldon.
Just picking Reed Shepherd makes much more sense for them (and someone they could target by trading down to either 4 or 8, but then Keldon is way to big a cost for us to do that)… or if they don’t see Sengun as a 5, taking Clingan. (Or obviously Sarr if he drops). Probably also Risacher. Basically they will be prioritising spacing and defence – neither of which gets answered with Keldon.

Impatient fans always talk about trading future assets to get more picks in the current draft. Luckily, GMs are smarter than that.

Keldon and a handful of 2nd round picks.

Why would we want a 3rd top 10 pick in a shit draft?
Conscious_String_195
No, I don’t want….and can’t handle Big Body on the Rockets. So close……yet so far. 😞 I m not doing the deal, but I would have to, as part of a package to get an established guy to pair with Wemby.
Not moving up 1 slot in a poor draft with a Houston team that doesn’t think too much of this draft either if they are willing to shop it already.
Gamechannel360
If Sarr slips and is available at 3, sure. Otherwise, no point. Risacher at 4 and Castle at 8 will do.

No thanks only one of those guys might hit. Might
