1 New Trade Idea for Every NBA Team

Normally bleacher report trade proposals are a full pile of dogcrap, but this one actually caught me attention.

The trade: Dillon Brooks, Tari Eason and the No. 3 pick to the Portland Trail Blazers for Jerami Grant and the No. 14 pick

The trade: Malcolm Brogdon to the Orlando Magic for Jett Howard, Joe Ingles and the No. 18 pick

Obviously we will waive Dillon Brooks to let him go to a contender, but I would not be surprised he stuck around because of his Oregon ties.

  1. Tari Eason, Jett Howard, Joe Ingles and Dillon Brooks.

    Pick No. 3,
    (Pick No. 7)
    Pick No. 18

Pretty neat haul for Brogdon and Grant

We’re not trading for picks this draft. First team to offer a non-2024 pick is getting Malcolm

    > Josh Giddey and the No. 12 pick to the Portland Trail Blazers for Anfernee Simons

I like the two trades above but this is shit

“**The trade: Malcolm Brogdon to the Orlando Magic for Jett Howard, Joe Ingles and the No. 18 pick**”

Easy yes. Much better than trading Ant.

Well, I guess I should be the one to tell you the Rockets never do that.

these would be home runs for Cronin. no chance of happening.

Grant and Brogdon trades feel like the other teams are overpaying quite a bit, but I guess that’s what a weak draft does to you.

There are definitely intriguing talent around the Orlando pick 18, and the third pick “could” get you Risacher. Home run trades for Portland, but I think they’re unlikely to be this good.

I would be amused to have Dillon – as long as he didn’t rub off onto our rookies and make them into assholes.

But the dude is legitimately interesting to follow. Kinda like the Kanye West of basketball. The trick is to not get too embarrassed when he inevitably does the weird and stupid things he consistently can’t help himself from doing.

Let’s both seems like ridiculously unrealistic trades to be honest. It’s a hard yes on both of them, but I can’t see the finished result looking even remotely this good.

  10. I’d take the Brogdon deal. Not super stoked on trading Grant for a better pick in this draft. The guys we’d be targeting at #3 could be there at #7.

Anything to get back blazers legend Joe Ingles

  12. > Obviously we will waive Dillon Brooks to let him go to a contender

Not how that works. Brooks has a guaranteed contract through 2027. We would either keep him or have to find another trade for him. Blazers wouldnt eat all that dead cap money
