This team has a hole when it comes to big-wing defenders like we saw against Boston.
Caruso (although he’s a valuable player) does not fill that…and trading Jarace removes a possible solution for that.
And for those reasons, I am out.

I like Caruso a ton, but trading players with 10 seasons left under team control for a player with 1 season left doesn’t make a ton of sense.

You can tell whoever comes up with them only watches the brand name teams from major markets.
This is an all-in move you make if you think the team is on the cusp of a title. It would make sense in combination with another all-in win-now trade for a star wing, on its own it doesn’t make sense for all the reasons laid out by the other comments on this.

Ijax ain’t the best, but with only him, Myles, and Jalen giving us size on the floor, we’ll need to get someone who can at least match his specific skillset. Not to mention what trading a promising young player should be able to yield as well

I’m a kinda sorta bulls fan and Caruso is amazing on defense but is sort of useless on the offensive end. He would break basically everything that your team is about. Doesn’t make sense to me.

I do like Caruso , and normally I would want him. But we need more SF than anything. Plus we’re already pretty deep at the guard positions we don’t need another one

They should trade Jackson, but Walker was a top 10 pick. As much as I love Obi, I’d rather see them develop Walker. I’d deal Obi and Jackson for a good SG.

Caruso is SOOOO overrated. Wouldn’t trade for him straight up with Ijax alone. He does nothing that would help this team win that Nembhard / Nesmith / TJM / Mathurin don’t already do at a higher level. Hard pass for me.
