  1. It’s a terrible account with low hanging fruit casual takes

Unless someone steals actual substantive posts this is pretty meaningless, it’s not like this person is the only one who had this thought.

If someone took the time to make an post with stats and examples and highlights and someone copy and pasted it as their own that’s one thing, but what you’re referring to is nothing

    Her own? LUL

BigKnickEnergy is one of the biggest Knicks fan accounts around. The internet was made to “steal” meme’s

  4. ShawshankException

Happens all the time. There’s tons of youtube creators who literally make money from just reading reddit posts.

Smosh even does this shit now. The internet is in its least creative era of all time. Everyone’s just copying each other.

    Aggregators.

Someone has a take here on Reddit that the Knicks are prioritizing signing OG over keeping Randle and all of a sudden it’s got IG posts fanning the flames. How that is supposed to even make sense or work given Randle is an under contract play and OG is an unrestricted FA is mind numbing. At least understand the cap enough to give some context about how you think it might work and affect the various caps, aprons and salary rules that the nba works under before you post FFS.

The Knicks FO is notoriously tight lipped. Not a single person outside of the inner circle knows their plan.

If they want something shared they will tell Woj or Shams when it suits them. They won’t be telling the guy who runs BigKnickEnergy.

This guy has been caught stealing other people’s tshirt designs and logos. He’s a scumbag.

Also TRASHES our players and then pretends he never did it. I’ve muted and blocked all socials already

  7. Puzzleheaded_Will352

That’s how it is. Gaming “journalism” for example, is just writing about what people are talking about on Reddit.

ESPN does it so of course some random as nobody will do it too. When it comes down to it……

Welcome to pretty much most of internet media. I frequent another sub that has tons of posts get pulled by bloggers for their site.

I once wrote here that Monica McNutt is the “heir apparent” to Clyde. This is actually the wrong phrase, because heir apparent implies being born into a job, which Monica obviously wasn’t. I just said that because it sounds funny when Chris Moltisanti says it in Sopranos. Hair apparent. Heh.

Anyway, next day BKE had a post claiming Monica to be the heir apparent.

So either we both used the wrong term to describe someone at the same time, or she’s lifting shit, as shown here.

I mean obviously it happens through osmosis or whatever and copying is pretty pervasive across social media. But idk if I’ve ever seen it so egregious where the account is literally just parroting whatever popular (and even unpopular) takes they find here and claiming them as their own.

Anyone who doesn’t footnote ‘should shampoo my crotch’

  12. York_Villain

Garbage account. When they’re not stealing content they throw shade at the Knicks pretty much every chance they get. I block them

I thought I was going crazy when I first saw that tweet, like word for word bar for bar was sure I saw that on Reddit like a day earlier

Definitely not the worst or most offensive thing they’ve done as others here have pointed out, but yeah, I’ve noticed.

Also separate from that and just more of an observation, but I thought their “‘officially’ a dad” tweet about Donte from today was a weird phrasing since it wasn’t a hard launch or surprise. Donte’s reposted his fiancé’s stories of him and Kai since she gave birth two months ago. Don’t expect fans to see every little thing that players have shared online but even as a fairly lowkey person when it comes to social media, Donte hasn’t hidden the fact that his son is here. I guess saying “officially” gets more engagement than saying, “Donte’s fiance Morgan shares a new photo of Donte and their two month old son Kai.”
