Pretty disappointing. Missi is the only one I feel like fits with our roster, and even then not great. I’d be okay with Holland at 14, but he’s far from my favorite guy that should be available at 7.

Missi is slower than Edey. He also lacks killer instinct. No from me.
Holland is a badass though! I love his mentality and desire to inflict defense on people. I kind of doubt he’ll slip to #7 though, and I don’t think he would be a bust at that slot.
I’d still take Edey there over Holland though as Edey is a Yao/Duncan/Hakeem type of scorer and generational talent who would be #1 10 years ago but IQs dropped 300 points recently.

“fine” on the lottery picks. i think holland’s shooting will come around. holland shoots better at the line than risacher, cody williams and only 0.4% behind tyler smith, and shooting threes is kinda supposed to be their “thing”.
second round picks suck and i don’t like them

Holland isn’t a bad pick at 7 but he’s 19 and we’re definitely committing to another couple years of missing the playoffs if we go that route. I have no idea what Cronin’s timeline is right now but picking Holland would sure tell us.

14: Edey, if available (could trade up with pick and assets to do this). If not, Ware
-Acquire depth at wing/forward (possible Grant replacement in Williams) and front court
-Acquire defense (Williams on ball defense, Ware and Edey possible interior defenders/shot blockers)
