A lot of people don’t realize Edey simply wouldn’t go for blocks during the first 3/4 of games in order to avoid foul trouble, while also averaging 10+ trips to the line per game and getting several members of the other team in foul trouble themselves. A lost art among most bigs these days.

The more I think about, the more I think the Blazers should take a swing on Edey at 14. No other player in that range has as much proven production and upside. Could be a really interesting 2 man game with Scoot also.

He is not an elite defender at any point during a game of basketball.
