Hey everyone – in this video (can also find it on SilverScreenAndRoll), I broke down what the team can learn from the Dallas Mavericks on how to build a winning roster around two stars. Thanks to the mods for letting me post.

    Here’s a table of contents:

I don’t think we can learn shit anymore in this league. Every year there’s a different champion now, there’s not one super team or anything that you need to build to beat. Create the best balanced team around your best players and luck and the right situation helps a lot.

No one saw Dallas going to the finals, they were fighting to stay out of the play in, Miami went to the finals as a 8 seed last year, we were 7 seed and would’ve went if it was anyone but Denver I believe. Denver won 1 ring and ppl were acting like they couldn’t be beat and talking dynasty, they couldn’t get past 2nd round. Do not try to follow others, build the best team you can and you might get lucky, nba is kinda wide open now, everyone can have a chance

I’ll watch the video later, but the Lakers already had the formula. We won the title when we had a great front court rotation, of defensive minded big men who can catch lobs. Dallas took our formula, while Pelinka decided to go in the opposite direction, for some reason.
