I don’t think the fans in Boston will share that sentiment

It’s genuinely funny how hard everyone is trying to make Kyrie’s return so dramatic and hostile, and yet they all just keep saying nice things about each other. The only hostility will be from the crowd.

Kyrie was never a locker room cancer. In fact very few guys generally are. The media and fans just like to cook up narratives to support their soap opera.

  4. Unfortunately, the fans never got the behind the scenes mentorship and camaraderie and only saw him leave unceremoniously.

  5. No one has ever claimed Kyrie was a bad locker room presence. The guys he played with all love him (except maybe Harden since Kyrie being a moron ran him out of Brooklyn). Even our bad locker room in 2019 when everyone came back and we had too many cooks it seemed like Marcus Morris and Rozier were the two “toxic” presences because their usage decreased so much.

Dude is the king of PR answers. His mom is an accomplished lawyer so it makes sense. I’m not saying they hate each other or anything but I feel like I never know how Tatum *actually* feels about anything.

The disciples of the Church of the Mamba finally get to play for a ring

  8. Just wait for the media to play up the “Boston is racist” angle, while conveniently ignoring that Kyrie plays in Texas.

Kyrie Irving – Your favorite player’s favorite player.

That team was plagued with ego, and they all liked each other. Both things can be true. Failure is part of any journey

  11. That Bucks series was disgusting. The Js get shit for the GSW and Miami series? Like KI put out an all-time quit job, and got away with it. And ppl are surprised Celtics fans care.

    F him

Media really trying to push the drama bro

  13. I know these reported get pissed as hell when they can’t make any easy headline. Big props to tatum for never giving them anything.

  14. I was told the conversations would be toxic. They have not been toxic.

Kyrie said he was going to stay and said he wanted to be a Celtic for life and was gone the next summer. It’s funny how everyone forgets how much of a pain Kyrie was and how horribly he played in the playoffs for the Celtics and then he bailed. The fans remember but everyone else seems to act like he didn’t sabotage the team.

  16. But how does Tatum feel about Kyrie as a father?

  17. Methamine

I don’t think kyrie and those teammates had beef. Esp Tatum and brown

Tatum knows the gameplan. You compliment Kyrie and Luka so they don’t go nuclear on you. Celtics in 4

  19. MoneyMakingMitch1

The players love KAI. Fuck these Celtics fans that are toxic and bitter toward KAI. and we know it’s more to the picture with the way they truly feel about him.

If I had a co-worker who tried to derail a morning meeting by arriving late and asking what government meant to us, I’d probably remember that as hilarious and question why he still works here.

Him blatantly throwing in the towel because the Bucks made working for buckets too hard and he wouldn’t pass to the open guy, I’d remember that as well.

    Kyrie is an asshat.

  21. Sorry, Jayson, we are all here for the blood and the drama.

  22. Much_Conversation_11

Tatum went “I am not getting Kyrie going like Ant did before game 1”

But yeah Tatum is the king of the neutral answer lol

  23. ChristBKK

Smart answer 🙂 luckily the Boston fans (with all due respect) will be so toxic towards Kyrie and Luka (once they get to know him)…

which will make them become better 😛

    This series will be fun.

  24. To be fair it seemed him and brown were sucking off kyrie when he stomped on lucky. I feel kyrie is gonna have a mental edge
