20+ PLAYERS FOR THE INDIANA PACERS TO TARGET THIS OFFSEASON!

20+ PLAYERS FOR THE INDIANA PACERS TO TARGET THIS OFFSEASON!

hey guys what is up it is the fast break report here bringing you guys another Vlog so I might as well do this immediately because everybody’s been asking about it like everybody’s already talked about the off season after last night’s loss to Boston um but the thing is uh Indiana lost that series um they battled all playoffs but a lot of their issues became very glaring as far as offensive rebounding rebounding as a whole uh having that third option who can go out there and get you a bucket when you need it you know you have seak you have halberton but they really need a third guy um and there’s a lot of questions about like defense uh like there’s just there’s so many question marks about this team and areas they need to improve in so I have a list of 22 players I was going for 25 but I’ve got a list of 22 players that I think um at the very that that could just help the team um we got Jaylen Smith departing Doug mcder is departing um you know OB toppen is really a toss up depending on what he gets offered um I I wouldn’t pay more than a total of $40 million 40 45 million at Max for Obi toppen um but you never know somebody could come in with an offer for four years 50 million four years 60 million for him depending on how desperate they are and if if he gets a contract like that I’m pretty positive the front office is going to let him walk so if that’s the case you know jarus Walker is going to get more minutes but we still need some guys on our team to fill some of the holes that we have on our on our roster so this is a list of 22 players I got the pepson deck so uh let’s go ahead and talk about some of the names I got Now understand none of these names are perfect um there’s no crazy young guys on here other than maybe one or two um this isn’t a list of sexy names they’re mostly role players um guys that I think could help out our roster and put us over the hump uh so to speak because we’re a team that I think we could have beaten Boston but we didn’t we kind of down our legs for the last you know for three out of those four games and um I just think that there’s going to be guys out there in free agency or guys that can be traded for this off season that would help this team a lot so without without any further Ado let’s go ahead and get into it so the first name I have on the list is Step Adams and the reason I have Steven Adams there is because he got traded to the Houston Rockets he’s a Savvy vet a good vet he plays hard he I think lead leads the league in offensive rebounds when he actually plays not much of a scorer obviously not a fast guy um but we do need somebody who can rebound at that Center position um and with you know I I understand we still have Isaiah Jackson we have Miles Turner but Jaylen Smith and Obi toen being gone could hurt us a bit step Adams would be a nice guy to maybe trade for I don’t know what the Rockets would want for him but he’s a guy that I look at it’s like he’s also a like a like almost like a James Johnson type of vet you know what I’m saying like a guy who’s not afraid of the other team he’s a guy that will defend his players like we saw you know Steph Adams all the time you know even in OKC defending Westbrook um even I think a couple times with the Memphis Grizzlies uh defending uh John Morant and stuff like that he is a guy that I like him because he’s Scrappy he’s not afraid to like throw hands with somebody if he has to so number one I got stepen Adams on here for physicality offensive rebounding purposes even defense he’s not terrible on defense so Steven Adams is one guy on the list number one number two is Dorian finny Smith Dorian finy Smith actually we’ll go over three also because he’s a part of the Nets organization as well and that’s Mike H Bridges so two and three are Dorian finny Smith and Michel Bridges now I don’t know what they’re doing over in uh Brooklyn but the thing is um they’ve been trying to trade Dorian finey Smith they’ve been listening to calls on Michel Bridges if we could get one of those two guys I think it would be a huge benefit to our roster obviously you would probably have to give up Benedict mathine or Aaron n Smith or a combination of both if even want Michel Bridges Dorian fin Smith maybe doesn’t have such a steep asking price we could maybe get away with a pick and a player uh for the Nets um they really want a first round pick for Dorian F Smith or two first round picks I think the last time they tried to trade him they’re not going to get two they’ll maybe get one plus a maybe a a young player that they can develop um but Dorian phy Smith would be nice on our roster he’s 6′ s he plays defense very well and he shoots the three very well uh you know replacing him with him for Doug McDermot I think would be a major upgrade to that to this roster and the bench the bench unit would be really good and Mikel Bridges I I don’t think much needs to be said about Mikel Bridges he’s a guy that obviously the asking price from uh the Brooklyn Nets is insane um but the thing is he Michel Bridges doesn’t fit the Brooklyn Nets timeline but Michel bridges does in a in a way fit ours um we got a lot of young guys cakam is 29 Going on 30 um Michel Bridges would be a nice guy for like that immediate return to the Eastern Conference Finals I think if we picked up a guy like Michel Bridges it would do wonders for this team he’s a great defender great third option we saw that in Phoenix um he has the ability to go out there and get Buckets when you need need him to we saw that with the Nets um so I really like Mike H Bridges he’s a guy that I like it just I don’t know if he’s obtainable so there’s Michel Bridges number four is OG anobi OG anobi great player when he’s playing that’s the problem um OG an anobi has only played on average 55 games over the last four uh four years and while he is very good and I think would fit our offense phenomenally he’s a guy that I would be very hesitant to pay more than like $30 million a year for um I know there’s people who think he will make more and yeah if he was healthy all the time he’ he’d be getting a Max contract like I’m going to call it what it is if if OG an anobi was a guy who could get you 65 5 70 games a year he would be getting a Max contract but I don’t think he’s going to um and the Knicks are really in a situation where they have to choose between OG an anobi and Isaiah hartenstein because hartenstein easily played his way out of New York as far as how well he played in the playoffs there’s going to be a lot of teams that are able to offer hardenstein a whole hell of a lot more money than the Knicks can um but they have to make that decision ogan and Obi or Isaiah hartenstein and to be honest with you I think either one of them could be very beneficial to our roster so um oh that’s the my my story with ogan anobi number five is Kyle Anderson Kyle Anderson’s 30 he can do a little bit of everything uh you know with the departure of guys like Jaylen Smith and potentially Obi toppen um and Doug McDermot I I like the idea of adding Kyle Anderson solid vet um the guys in Minnesota love him he’s a guy that um could be a little bit under the radar as far as a guy that could be good but Kyle Anderson’s a guy that I think coming off the bench could provide some very really really valuable minutes not only from a defensive standpoint but from an offensive standpoint and playmaking standpoint as well so that’s Kyle Anderson number six this one’s going to be controversial and I kind of don’t care and that’s miles Bridges um miles Bridges is an unrestricted free agent the Hornets own his bird rights um I honestly feel like what’s going to he’s an unrestricted free agent but the the clip the the thing is the Hornet can offer him more money than anybody else the thing is I’m wondering if they’re letting miles Bridges go into free agency just to see what his value is somebody’s going to offer for Miles Bridges a Max contract I’m just going to tell you right now regardless of all the offc court that has gone on with him over the past year or two um the guy when he steps on the floor can ball he averages about 20 points a game he’s a southpaw he shoots Lefty he can play defense he can shoot the three he can get out on the Break um he’s 26 years old and that fits our timeline perfectly I think it’s very rare that you can say that about a player him and OG anobi but the thing is Miles Bridges uh you know most honestly he was a big reason why the Charlotte Hornets won as many games as they did this year because if they didn’t have miles Bridges I seriously believe they would not they would be dead last in the NBA as far as standings go um there was a lot of times in the regular season where uh miles Bridges was asked to carry the load for this team him and Brandon Miller and they they did it flawlessly um you know there’s been games where they were down a lot and Miles Bridges had a couple games where it’s like they’re down by 15 points at the end of halftime and in the second half dude goes off for like you know 15 20 points and a half and gets them back into the game and actually like at least makes it competitive again so that’s why I like miles Bridges I I understand what people don’t like him for the off Court but the on court I think he’s a phenomenal player so that’s miles Bridges number seven is Isaac aoro Isaac aoro is a restricted free agent I guarantee the Cleveland Cavaliers bring him back regardless of what somebody offers him uh but Isaac aoro shot like 30 I think 39% from the three-point line this year which is a major Improvement and 49% from the field as a whole which is ridiculous Isaac aoro is Young um but the thing is he’s a guy that you’re really only going to be able to either trade for or just try to uh out out bid the Cavaliers for him you know and I I just honestly like he’s good uh but he’s not a guy that I could see he’s not a guy that we should overpay for to put on our roster um and because I I feel like if you’re going to spend that type of money you can spend it someplace else and maybe get a better player that’s the is issue with Isaac aoro but still Isaac aoro great defender shooting the three-point shot well now after being in the league a couple years um there’s not much left to say about him Isaac aoro is a great three and D guy and we need defense and uh like I said if we can replace that Doug McDermot role with a guy who can defend and shoot threes it’s it’s a big big positive for this Pacers team next is Andre Drummond uh Ed eight Andre Drummond’s a guy who can still get it done shockingly enough um Andre Drummond is a guy that um I think we could pick up for the low and would he would definitely fix our rebounding issues the problem is that’s about it um he’s an okay Defender around the paint but Andre Drummond’s not what he used to be but as as a bench Center as as a guy who comes off the bench he can he can do some kind of an underrated passer as well so I like Andre Drummond uh at number eight number nine this is incredibly unlikely but I’m not ruling it out is Paul George obviously Paul George pH is would be a would fill a very very big void on this team as far as being a great defensive player still he can still shoot the three he has the ability to take games over um you know he’s still he still got a I think a lot of basketball left I think he’s 34 but Paul George is a guy that I think you know it I what the what we’ve seen out of NBA players in the past couple years is the idea they’re playing till they’re almost 40 um so you know Paul George being 34 I don’t know if I’d give him a Max contract um but if you could entice him to come back for like two years million or something like that um that would be very very beneficial for the Pacers uh regardless of what you think of Paul George Paul George the basketball player is still a very good player next is DeMar D rozan who unfortunately is going to be 35 but he’s in the same situation as uh Paul George Demar D rozan though however is a mid-range killer he can he can create his own shot which is something not a lot of guys on our roster do Tyrese can do it n Smith can do it math he kind of can it’s not great um we don’t have a lot of guys on this team that can create their own shot in the mid-range and adding a guy like d rozan who gets to the free throw line at will he that mid-range jumper is disgusting he’s a guy that like if you need a a clutch bucket you can you can give it to him I mean DeMar rosen finished second in clutch player voting only behind Stephen Curry who won clutch Player of the Year number two was DeMar d rozan uh Demar D rozan still a phenomenal player at the same m is Paul George almost 34 35 years old um I would really like toar Rosen even though I think he’s going to go to Miami or New York those are the two places he claimed to have want wanted to go to during the trade deadline when the Bulls were shopping pretty much everybody um but now he’s saying he wants to go back to Chicago so I I don’t really know what the deal is with dear de R rozan but all I know is if the Pacers could add demard DE rozan it’d be huge number 11 is DeAndre Hunter I’m not completely sold on DeAndre Hunter he’s he’s a solid player but that’s about it you know if you’re expecting star player prowess out of uh DeAndre Hunter I hate to break it to you but I’m not really sure that’s ever coming uh DeAndre Hunter is a guy that I would like to I think he’s more like has the ability to be like a kcp type of player kentavius Caldwell Pope um if DeAndre Hunter could be that that’s a beneficial thing but he’s he’s young he got just recently got a contract extension a couple years ago um but Atlanta is looking to like really revamp their roster and put something strong together for next season uh and I think moving on from DeAndre Hunter and Clint capella are two things that the Hawks are looking to do if we could land either one of them it would be nice but it really depends on what we’d be giving up um you know like DeAndre Hunter is good is he worth Aaron n Smith no that’s like that’s where I’m at you know I think cuz unfortunately they’re too similar and in some ways I think Aaron n Smith is actually better better than DeAndre Hunter but DeAndre Hunter solid Defender that’s the main reason I put him on here but he’s very less likely to happen I I I feel like he’s not a guy that I think we’re even going to be looking at but you never know um number 12 is precious aoua um precious preious auua is a very good player he played well for the Knicks when he did play um but with us getting rid of Jaylen Smith and potentially Obi toppen adding a guy like Precious aoua who can bang down low a little bit who can run the floor who can occasionally shoot a three um honestly pre tuua not a bad pickup um not a great pickup either but he’s a guy that I think could maybe fill the void that’s going to be left by Jaylen Smith and and potentially Obi toppen um I it just he’s a guy that like he would he would strictly be a bench player for us he wouldn’t be a starter by any means number 13 is Isaiah hartenstein and the reason I said that I talked about this with the OG an anobi part um Isaiah hartenstein is a guy that has played his way out of New York someone’s going to offer him an ass ton of money but um you never know you know if you can get into the Isaiah hartenstein sweep Stakes you get a guy who’s great at offensive rebounding guy who’s a solid Defender um can do a little bit of work around down in the paint around the basket um I like Isaiah hartenstein do I love him no uh but he’s a guy that like if you’re looking to fix your rebounding problem uh he and and defense as well he’s a guy that you could maybe make a run at um next number 14 is Gordon Hayward this is going to be a guy that a lot of Pacers fans disagree with I feel but Gordon hayward’s a guy who is not going back to Oklahoma City he was not happy with his role on that team he didn’t get to play uh very much at all but Gordon hayward’s a guy that should be on a vet minimum deal this upcoming year he’s a guy that I think is not going to command a whole lot of money if you can put him out there with that third unit or that second unit as a guy who can just be like the leader of that unit you know TJ McConnell appears to be like the leader of the second unit and the guy who comes in and does a lot of the work but if you can put him out there with Gordon Hayward and Gordon Hayward can maybe rally the um the third string guys in certain games or you know even just having him off the bench there are nights where Gordon haward could still go off for 24 25 points um and I think also with the idea of Gordon Hayward not being a starter as well for this team would be I think you have a lot less to worry about injury-wise um even though Gordon Hayward I feel like is made of glass he’s a guy that I’m like yeah you know if you’re going to if you’re going to sign him he’s going to be a guy you bring Off the Bench he’s going to be a vet on our team and he would be like almost like a six-man you know a guy who comes in Off the Bench maybe gives us 12 or 15 points a game as a bench player if that’s possible and you could get him for I think a lot cheaper than going after a guy like a d rozan or Paul George or an OG anobi like he can still kind of get that but by paying a significantly cheaper price and he’s just not going to play as much um but all I know is U he understands that he’s a bench player I think at this point but he wants to go to a team where he will play um Gordon hayward’s is not a guy that I think cares he he just doesn’t want to sit on the bench like I don’t even think Gordon Hayward gives a about what he does he just wants to be able to play every once in a while if you put him on the PAC Pacers and give them like 10 minutes a game it could be very very beneficial to the to the second unit to have another guy out there like Gordon Hayward um if you plan to put Benedict Maan in the starting lineup or whatever you plan to do between n Smith and mathine I think Gordon Hayward would be a nice addition next is Gary Trent JR this is another three and D move uh Gary Trent Jor is not a guy I’m super crazy on but he’s a guy that will be a free agent so uh Gary TR Jr will be out there but I mean not a guy I’m absolutely in love with next is number 16 cavius Caldwell Pope he is a guy that if we he’s he’s got one year left on his deal he’s a tradable guy um but cavius cwell Pope or kcp uh really really good 3 andd player one of the best 3 andd players in the league that is like a pure 3 andd player I really like him Robert Williams of the Portland Trailblazers he’s getting off an injury uh he’s a guy I think we could lure away from the Portland Trailblazers he would be a a very nice addition to this team great great defender great rebounder great blocker like he’s almost like a Dennis Rodman type of figure um like he’s a guy that just reminds me of Dennis Rodman he’s not going to score a ton of points but he’s going to make it difficult down in the paint for other teams and Robert Williams is a guy that I’m just like if we can find a way to you know finesse him away from the Portland Trailblazers it would be be huge it would be a also like at that point I don’t give a what happens to Jaylen Smith you know what I’m saying he can go to the Celtics for all I give a but if you could somehow find a way to land Robert Williams that would make your defense a whole hell of a lot better you know like you and Robert Williams is not only an interior Defender he can step out on the wing too and play some defense so uh he’s kind of an underrated passer as well um but he’s a guy that I’m like yeah the Pacers can make a run at anybody or trade for anybody that I think would instantly improve this team’s defense and rebound ing Robert Williams is a guy that I’m like yeah like that’s a guy I want um next is Malik monk Malik monk I put him on here because he he’s the the closest comparison to buddy heeld I think that is out in free agency and what I mean by that is a guy who can run the floor um Malik monk is capable of dunking like he’s actually like he’s Uber athletic but I I feel like with the way our team runs in Pace Malik monk would be a simultaneous fit kind of like Pascal cakam where if you get out and run Malik just going to run to the three-point line and he’s very good at hitting threes in transition he’s good at hitting threes in general so Malik Monk’s a guy that I’m like he would be a nice addition to this team as well um I understand he’s a guard uh but you know we got Ben Shepard out there um you know Andrew neard is going to be a starter next season more than likely um but Malik monk would be decent bench three-point shooter I mean we have Ben Shepard but if you could add another guy like Malik Monk and just get one more Sharpshooter on the roster I think that would be huge um so and and plus Malik Monk’s a you know he’s I think he’s young a hell of a lot younger than Doug McDermot too so I I kind of like that as well number 19 is Paul Reed Paul Reed being a power forward he he is a guy one of the few guys at the 76ers will be able to retain going into next season but Paul Reed is a guy that I’m like uh I know Nick nurse wanted to turn him into Pascal sakam in some way shape or form if we can get him and actually have Pascal sakam I think that would be a huge win for this team uh Robert Paul Reed is a guy that I think doesn’t get enough opportunity with us I think he’d get a lot of a lot of opportunity and that fixed kind of the the front Court hole we got he’s still undersized but he’s a guy that can get out run same thing with Robert Williams Robert Williams is undersized but Robert Williams can play defense Paul Reed’s a guy that I think if you developed him correctly could be another Pascal SE yakum or you know just a guy who’s capable of doing a little bit of everything next is Robert Covington the reason Robert cumington Is Here is because we can get him on a that minimum deal most likely and he would play defense and shoot threes we saw a little bit of a Revival of him going back to the 76ers in that trade for James Harden uh Nick Batum is another guy that comes to mind immediately Nicholas Batum would be amazing for the Pacers but another three and D guy that could maybe help us out a lot um the at 21 I have Tobias Harris I’m not overly sold on Tobias Harris uh I I don’t know what he does defensively I haven’t seen enough of him defensively I just know he can score score um and if you can have ADD Tobias Harris to this team um even though it’s you know what is it they say in the The Longest Yard it’s not the entire chocolate bar but we got a Hershey’s kiss that’s how I feel about Tobias Harris uh Tobias Harris is not going to be the guy who’s going to come out and like take over games he’s not going to come out and play you know Uber athletic defense but he can rebound and he can shoot the three and he can put that ball in the basket when he really wants to um Tobias Harris would be a great third option I think on this team the the only my only issue with Tobias Harris is like he’s good but I don’t think he’s enough to move the needle for us he is another guy that I think is maybe going to get another overpay in free agency depending on who is going after him uh but Tobias Harris as a guy it’s like you really got to like if if the money’s right yeah you you go you go after Tobias Harris especially if ogan and obi’s off the board uh if Paul George is off the board d rozen’s off the board um you know if you can’t land any of these guys LeBron’s going back to LA that’s a pretty much a given at this point um but if you can’t land any of those guys and Tobias Harris is still out there I I I think Tobias Harris is a guy you take a swing on lastly number 22 is a former Pacer and that’s Caris LeVert um Caris LeVert played very well in the playoffs uh against Boston he did all right um this is a guy who can create his own shot he’s an okay Defender he can shoot the three um he will kill teams from mid-range if you let him shoot mid-range jump shots all day you’re going to get killed um and I like that about car I like a guy that can you know get down into the mid-range you know he he can create shots off the dribble which is something this team lacks a whole hell of a lot of um Carol s pretty much I mean defensively he’s not amazing but he still averages a steel of game you know he’s not the worst defender in the world but uh Carol LT would just be a nice guy to get back because uh we we we really need like a whole bunch of different we need chot creators we need um guys who can you know maybe another 20 point per game scorer would be nice um but it’s just the idea that’s why I like Caris LeVert I think Caris LeVert could maybe do some things for us that we’re lacking in uh you know Andrew nard Aaron n Smith and eventually Ben mathine I think will all become better at shooting off the dribble but having a veteran guy like Carol LT that you can bring Off the Bench or maybe even start for you that’s capable of creating his own shot to there like every time he plays against us he plays well I don’t know why but Caris time he plays against the Pacers he he plays very well I think in the regular season this past season we played against the Cavs and Carol I think gave us like uh what was it like 20 points in the first half or 25 points in the first half then after that in the second half he went kind of quiet but he’s a guy that’s capable of that he’s a guy that’s capable of like when he’s in a Zone he’s in a Zone you know what I’m saying so anyway that’s it for the list um I don’t have any honorable mentions but um Jonathan Isaac’s a guy I was thinking about but the problem is Jonathan Isaac is you know I I got to see this dud D play a full season of basketball again before I’m like yeah he’s a guy that we should maybe Target uh he would be great as a Defender uh multi you know guy who who can defend at all three levels um offensively I understand he he still needs a little polish but the three-point shot I think has been better this year as well don’t quote me on it but uh Jonathan Isaac would be another guy that we could maybe Target um I’ve seen people talk about trading Miles Turner for Jared Allen I I think I was the one that started that whole thing uh because of the rebounding things but the problem is if you trade Miles Turner before you resign Pascal seak seak like that would be a big reason for seak to leave um because part of the reason he came to Indiana is because he wanted to play with Miles Turner so I don’t know man the the Pacers have a lot of options I feel like they’re going to get better this offseason there’s a lot of really good unrestricted free agents out there there’s a lot of guys you could trade for Derek White’s a guy that is is probably going to get traded for something uh I just don’t see the Boston Celtics being able to retain him as well as everybody else they’ve already given money to um but you never know man uh you never know the offseason could be crazy we could there’s a lot of guys on our roster that could be up for for trade I mean if we look at I mean Benedict mathan I don’t think is safe anymore unfortunately only because of how well we played without him but you know Aaron Smith is a guy you can maybe improve on maybe get something better for him um you know even though I love Aaron E Smith Aaron E Smith is not a guy I want to get rid of but um you never know I mean jarus Walker I it doesn’t seem like Rick car trust him very much jarus Walker could be a guy that we move on from unfortunately um but we did resign kend doall brown but uh Andrew neard is going to be a guy that draws a lot and I mean a lot of calls this off season um specifically by teams like the Spurs like I’m G be honest if the Spurs gave us the right trade package for Andrew num hard uh that would be pretty ridiculous like maybe a Kell and Johnson Level trade um or uh Devon it’s not going to be Devon Vel level but Kell would be nice I think K Johnson would be a monster with this team um but there’s there’s a couple guys on our roster that could be on the Move um I know Jared Allen or not Jared Allen Jaylen Smith is gone um Isaiah Jackson has a team option that I’m pretty sure we’re going to pick up um he’s a guy that I think yeah he has he has a team option for 2024 so he’s he’s going to be a guy that I think is coming back um so yeah that’s that’s pretty much it that’s that’s what I got for this video tell me what you guys think about this in the comment section below like helps me out subscribe if you guys want to see more on The Fast Break report and I’m out of this peace guys

  1. We REALLY need a wing/big man who can actually play defense, and is at least a decent shooter.

  2. Pascal realistically should make about 23 to 24mil a year. We won't be able to sign anyone at all. If they pay him 42mil this year or whatever the fk crazy number they might give him. Then assuming they'd retain Obi.. but knowing the Pacers they will probably screw everything us and sign terrible player's if any at all.

  3. Pascal takes 23.4mil the 1st year, then say 38, 38 and 35.. If they have to give him more for taking less the first year. Give it to him in year 2 and 3. The last year less.. so he's easier to move by then. Or at least isn't killing our cap in his worst year..

Drummond would be great.. But he will make about 12ish mil a year after his play. Hartenstein will make 15 to 20mil a year.

  4. I highly doubt we can get him, but I think in an ideal world PJ Washington would be the best pickup for us. Athletic, long and lanky but strong, and can shoot

  5. We need guy's who can create shots, while being able to defend. That's De'Anthony Melton. Could be around 12mil a year for him tho..ppl don't realize he's short, but has a big wingspan and can play solid D. Caleb Martin is a 10mil at least and is a great shooter and one of the best SF/SG defenders in FA. Kelly Oubre Jr. 12to14mil a year.. Great scorer, microwave player.. can put up huge numbers. Loves to get out and run. Plays passing lanes.. Scrappy defender.. Then I saw Kessler Edwards on a minimum like a 1.7 to 2.7mil a year guy. Because he's 23. 6'7 athletic freak. Strong as hell, great defender. Better than anyone in Defensive Rating on our entire team. As would be the other 3 guys I named.. Edwards can't do much offensively. But he can hit catch n shoot 3's, spot ups.. not someone who's gonna handle the ball, or create offense. But we can use him to backup Nesmith and be another body. It could also ease up the demand on Nesmith Defensively and help his offense.

Then there's Willy Hernangomez. Who I feel has wasted away in NOP. He's a great savy big at 6'11 235ish.. he rebounds well, has great post touch, can stretch when needed and is always ready and gives his best when he's on the floor. There's a game mid-season where NOP were up. They put him on Embiid and he schooled Embiid down low. Got boards and stopped him Defensively a couple times down. Literally killed Embiid in the post and with his quickness and has such a good quick big body. With still a low center of gravity because he's 6'11..

Jonas Valanciunas would be solid if cheap enough. He's not always bad Defensively if you use his minutes right. He's a double double machine as well.. but I'd say he'll get at least about 14 to 15 mil a year.

  6. I'd Draft Adema Bona for sure with one of our picks..The Nigerian Bam Adebyo. Then draft Jaylon Tyson, Baylor Scheierman, Newton, Cam Christie, Bobi Klintman, DaRon Holmes, Brooks, Missi, Tyler Kolek, Mintz.. Jalen Bridges
Tyler Kolek is TJ McConnell with a 3ball.. I swear. If everyone else is gone. We get him and him TJ can be beasties. Lol

  7. Miles Bridges would be a massive pickup. However I have a better chance of Elvis showing up to my birthday party than the Pacers have in getting him.

  8. PPUULLLEEASSEEE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON TARI EASON. The guy is a 6'8 defensive beast, rebounds, shoots, and only 23.

  9. Pascal takes 23.4 the first year so we can sign two more dude's and we retain Obi. I'll be happy. Draft smart. Adema Bona. Nigerian Big. A name Chimezie Metu, also Nigerian. He's been a great player at time's on team's. As well as a defender. Yet been bounced around and probably wasn't too happy on the KD team and I think since he hasn't been his best. He could also be a steal! Can shoot the 3, play D and be the PF/C. Small ball C.

We could also trade a couple 2nds to a Boston or someone who has a higher pick. Like Boston has the 30 pick and would probably rather trade it for a couple 2nds. We could definitely get Baylor Scheierman, or possibly Jaylon Tyson falls there too. Or Bobi.. lots of guy's could fall there.. I hope we draft all good guy's. Bona, Christie are awesome. Kolek so many.. Mintz a poor man's Brunson lol.

  10. I love Mikal Bridges it gives us a good defender and a shot creator which would also help us a lot in close late games. Also love Steven Adamā€™s believe it or not heā€™s a great screen setter good rebounder and just a great role player that does what needs to be done.

  11. I also like Robert Williams I agree on him if not us heā€™ll make a difference on another team. Also agree on Monk I think heā€™d fit right in with our style of play and thrive.

  12. One of the Pacers' secret superpowers is that guys with "names" get overpaid by the competition, and we end up being the deeper team. Love OG, but let the Knicks overpay him.

  13. Thanks for doing this video. I think the only two players who can help us are Kuzma. Or miles Bridges

  14. Like it or not delete will not have money to resign Turner. Siakam must stay with us also TJ will have to be resigned and stay with our team he is a warrior

  15. I am telling you the modern basketball needs players like Kuzma or Miles Bridges. In this modern basketball each player will have to guard multiple positions

  16. Another free agent who can help the team in not be expensive is Cedi Osman from San Antonio former Cleveland player

  17. For the play offs you need fighters to fight physically with another players no one went to jaylen Brown face when he did the foul on TJ. This team needs another veteran

  18. 1PG T. Haliburton. 2PG T.J. 3SG B. Mathurin. 4SG E. Nemhard. 5SG/SF Nesmith 6SF/PF Siakam. 7SF/PF Walker. 8PF Jackson. 9 C Turner. 10SG Shepard. 11PF Obi. 12 Oscar T. I believe if you can add on this team Kuzma ,Miles Bridges , Tobias or Osman. Will be a good team. And maybe another veteran center

  19. mychal bridges would be a great pickup, he can score, plays great defence and hasnt missed a game since high school

  20. The minute u said ANYTHING about trading Mathurin u lost me, for good….I need to do this, u r an absolute ID iot if u think ANY trade that has Mathurin is good

  21. Bridges? Might as well pick up that Primo kid who pulled his meat out on the Spurs therapist if we have no standard of conduct for our players. Jeez man. This is Indiana. We're better than that.

  22. Some guys are throwing Ingram out there and I think that would be awesome. It would basically be siakam 2.0 so we would have 2 siakam lol letā€™s do it! @fastbreakreport

  23. Paul George. Brandon Ingram OG harteinstein. Luke kennard via trade. I honestlu would try to get PG since he already know the pacers organization he could be a leader. That the pacers need

  24. People seem to forget that the Pacers have Oscar Tshiebwe coming soon. He just won Rookie of the year in the G league, where he averaged 17 points and 17 rebounds. Not to mention he is 6:8 and weighs 260. Guys go to the g-league for playing time. The Pacers did not want him riding the bench, they wanted him playing. We also need a second team point guard. When Haliburton went down everybody did fine until the last 3 minutes. Then they chocked. If we had someone like Byron Scott back in the day, it would be huge. So we have to get that second strong point guard. We need one more big scorer. I would hate to see Mathurin leave, but the Pacers could package him with maybe Myles Turner and a first round pick and get a very nice player, if they do their homework and get the right guy. Someone like Middleton from the Bucks, maybe not him but someone like that. No Kevin Durants or and anything stupid like that. Klay Thompson would be a huge pick-up. Even Draymond if they could make that happen. I would also be happier with Jarrett Allen in the middle then Turner. That is a deal Cleveland might just make, Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell for Myles Turner, Benedict Mathurin, and a 1st round pick

  25. Good video and first Pacers video out of the gateā€¦ nice work.

The biggest question is what are the Pacers willing to spend? If they sign Siakum to a max contract, they are way over the salary cap, but they are also well below the luxury tax threshold. So it comes down to where they are willing to be within that range.

A lot of the names on your list probably arenā€™t gettable. Eg Mikal Bridges would be amazing šŸ”„, but he is on a very friendly contract with only a $23M cap, thereā€™s no way the Nets give him up unless for a ransom. Same with Finney-Smithā€¦ they have to pay Ben Simmons and need good contracts to stay like Dorianā€™s. The sneaky play with the Nets would be to sign Trendon Watford as a defensive role player for not much money. But if the Pacers trust Jarace and Oscar, no need for Watford.

The two trade takes I love are Steve Adams and Keldon Johnson. Adams would be a terrific backup center and leadership presence. Keldon Johnson might be gettable and heā€™s a notably better version of Benn Mathurin. Itā€™s the ā€œ3ā€ position where we have good players, but not championship-caliber players. If we had to trade one of Mathurin, Nesmith or Nembhard for Keldon, I think you do it.

Some other options at the SF spot that could be sneaky good moves especially if they canā€™t or donā€™t want to hold onto Obi would be guys like Saddiq Bey, Okoro (he might get too pricey), Caleb Martin or Royce Oā€™Neal.

Also love the takes on Robert Williams III. If we could finesse him away from Portland, we solve a big hole in having rebounding and someone who takes away the panic when Myles is in foul trouble or just isnā€™t playing well on a given night. AchĆuwa would be another, esp if Knicks focus on retaining Hartenstein.

You hear Haywardā€™s name connected to the Pacers a lot. If the contract is right, heā€™s a good backup option to Siakum. They both okay the midrange game and Hayward is basically a poor manā€™s Siakum with a little better 3-point shot.

How about this for another sneaky good move?ā€¦ Patrick Williams? Health has been the issue, but talent wise, heā€™d potentially be a beast as backup to Siakum. I just get the feeling that a team like the Pacers could keep him healthier and just be a better environment for him. Heā€™s still very young at 22 and heā€™s a restricted free agent already.

  26. Fucking dope list. With our cap situation and assets, not to mention guys leaving, could be a move where we sign and trade Stix, for Moody perhaps? I like letting Obi walk and signing Kelly Ourbe Jr too. and I second Tari Eason, and other teams with log jams and needs for Stix type player. Oscar and Jarace will get clock for sure; Pacer fans realize we are not a high spending team, but perhaps we will dip just under the 1st Apron at most? It's worth it! Teams like Minnesota are in a wild predicament, they can't move and they have to move to get control of their assets again. Sell high and SnT Stix and Nembhard (who will command $$$ when the time comes) and take back Jaden McDaniels and Leonard Miller (20y). Just some other ideas. Dig it man, great season!

  27. Mikal bridges would be awesome, thats who ive been wanting the Pacers to get for awhile. I don't think they have much chance to get him though. I would give mathurin and anybody else they have besides haliburton. I wouldn't put Siakam in that list because he ll be a free agent. They definitely need a defensive minded players. I thought Turner played great in the Playoffs but id still rather them get someone different. I like Mark Williams and Robert Williams for their shot blocking and ability to decently step out and play defense on smaller , quicker guys with room to grow. I love Paul George coming back, but he s almost certainly not coming back to Indy. They could compete for a championship with George if not injured all the time. I don't think the pacers have the cap room to afford some of these players if they resign Siakam and keep all the key players. The dream, trade would be getting Sabonis back and moving Turner. They d have to change they're style of play a little but Sabonis is a great passer and could give the Pacers a Nuggets style of offense.
