The Atlanta Hawks scored 58 points in a 97-58 loss to the Bulls on 1/14/2013 — the lowest since 2012. They also scored 5 points in the 2nd quarter.



5 points in an entire quarter provided a 20-point first half for the Hawks. If not for a layup with 8 seconds left, they would’ve had the worst quarter in franchise history, and probably NBA history, with 3 points.

3 points in 12 minutes for an NBA team.

    Three points is no where NEAR the least amount of points in a single quarter.

    The Lakers once scored ONE point in the fourth quarter to blow a lead and lose the game to the Pistons, the pistons scored a whopping THREE points that quarter to win the game 19-18. November 22, 1950; the reason why they implemented the shot clock

    The pistons also scored just three points in the second quarter. Lakers scored just four in the third (which means they scored five points in a single half)

    How about in January of 2014 when the Pacers held the Wizards to just 66 points in a game where John Wall and Bradley Beal both played.

    The Wizards failed to score 20 points in any quarter.

    I was at this game!!! Weirdest game I’ve ever been to. It was so insane to watch. Atlanta had 5 points in the entire second quarter and there was a point in the first half where I swear like there was like 2 shots made by either team for like 10 minutes.
