    Curious to see his movement on defense more than anything, but ofc the staff clearly see he is good to go so that makes me feel better lol

  3. People forget what this offense is capable of with a healthy KP

    Just give me 1 healthy series Kristaps

    Then you can go play in the Olympics and literally explode every joint in your body for your country and I won’t even mind if you give me 1 healthy series.

    What’s stupid is this wait until Thursday, followed by another three days off. If Porzingis isn’t ready by game 2 he never will be.

    I wonder what the minutes will look like.

    I would assume Porzingis was supposed to be playing ~35mpg for the finals. The injury obviously complicates those plans.

    * When Brown got injured in the 2018 playoffs he came back and averaged 25mpg for the first 3 games.

    * When Hayward got injured in the 2020 playoffs he averaged 31mpg in his first 4 games.

    * Not a playoff example but Smart averaged 23mpg in his first 4 games back from that nasty calf strain in 2021.

    Porzingis himself has looked pretty decent coming back from minor injuries all season.

    * 20ppg over 31mpg after missing 4 games in November/December (Calf Strain).

    * 20ppg over 30mpg after missing 2 games in January (Unspecified Minor Ankle Injury).

    * 19ppg over 25mpg after missing 5 games in March (Hamstring).

    It will be interesting to see if Porzingis is coming back in a limited capacity or if he’s just back and ready to play. The one thing we do know is that Dallas will be testing that calf in G1.

    I expect them to target him a lot in mismatches.
