LeBron James Opens Up About Kyrie Irving Making It Back to the NBA Finals

If the Mavs win the Finals, it feels inevitable that LeBron will join the team in the off-season. If the Mavs lose the Finals, it feels inevitable that LeBron will join the team in the off-season. How do you feel about this outcome?

  1. Not saying its likely but imagine the playmaking of a team with LeBron and Luka 😭😭😭

I don’t feel great because the distance between the locker room and the media which is beautiful in our current team. Luka averaged splits like 40/23/70 in the first series with even worse splits in the first few games yet you didn’t hear a peep in the media about locker room frustrations, Luka’s lack of leadership and criticism.

We get to hear media negging from sources about AD on a weekly basis since he has been on the lakers or even KD talking to the media about his problems getting used badly with Booker as a playmaker and Vogel as a coach while there is an ongoing series where they are down 0-2.

Kyrie has bought into our system and doesn’t have a media presence he nurtures carefully. Lebron is a great player and seems to be a great person but is the opposite of that in terms of media presence.

Is he saying he talked to Jason Kidd? His brief impersonation sounded like him.

  4. 1) Would he be willing to play for the vet min?

    2) Would he be willing to come off the bench? Because I don’t know how that possibly works with him starting next to Luka—you’re not telling Bron to go space the floor for corner 3s lol

2a) He’s still too damn good (at fucking 40!!!) to be a 6th man lol but you could sign me up for that in about 2 seconds

Im out on Bron. We have young team and the salary resources you would need to complete a S&T would be huge.

You would need to send out young dudes and solid rotation players for a 1-2 year rental of a 41 year old. I just think there are better ways to use our resources and stay on Luka’s timeline. Also, the media circus would suck. There are a lot of downsides to signing a very old Lebron James.

We should hire Phil Handy, draft Bronny if he’s available in the 2nd round. LeBron would sign for the vet min to play with Luka, Kyrie, DLive, and Bronny.

Lakers are a perennial play in team, especially with the West getting better and teams like the Grizz/Kings returning to playoff contention
