“As a player going into his 3rd year who hasn’t lived up to expectations”

Jabari is his own worst critic. He’s been fine. He just turned 21 and just needs to remember to have fun. He’ll be better for it. Putting way too much pressure on himself.

You Gucci bari, we got you and we believe in you.

I like that he expects a lot from himself, and I also appreciate that he’s cognizant of how much more he needs to grow. With that said, I hope he realizes that the Rockets fanbase isn’t as rabid as the Lakers. We recognize that player development is a process and that Stephen Silas didn’t do y’all any favors.

Hard thinking you’re going to be the #1 draft pick and then the guy that gets picked instead of you gets selected to an all star game and into the playoffs while you’re sitting at home. He’s young and his game is growing, I think next year will be huge for him.

I like his attitude. I do hope he’s part of our core for a long time

  6. Dude really doubting himself hard man. I hope he understands he’s been really good at times. He cant think he suppose to be like a superstar immediately, I srill believe in him and I know he’ll take a leap this year

Can’t even knock on him for always wanting to get better. He’s only 21, I hope he bulks up and keeps his 3. His jumps hot by far is the best on our squad imo, give him time and it’ll be worth the wait. Knew coming in that he was gonna be a project vs paolo.

  8. I’m in the minority here, but at some point he has to stop taking this “cute young player” approach.

They asked Ant if he looked up to Booker, and his response was “hell no”

Also, how would Tatum know the answer to this. Wasn’t his in the finals at 19 or something like that?

I think some of yall misunderstand Jabari man. It takes a lot of courage to ask that question in front of all those cameras. Jabari had no veteran help his rookie year besides a checked out Eric Gordon. Silas was dealing with his own battles with his dream job basically vanishing when Harden requested trade & his father passing. Last year was tough for those guys. He’s already seen massive improvements in his sophomore season with Udoka. I expect him to steadily get better as he grows into his body. Stay the course

  10. I hope Boston get it done this year, we will see them as champions and beat them, let’s go Houston
