Don’t Kill Me

Have zero clue to what Marcus Smarts trade value is. But Grizzlies could use a Offensive PF, Pat to make the Cap work. Just trying to find different options and this would just about be the funniest thing to happen.

I wouldn’t do this trade for obviously two reasons. Right now if you watch the bucks they are struggling with scoring at the 2. And why give up your sixth man?

I’d do it, Bobby can’t play in the playoffs.

Smart is a slightly worse version of Jrue and younger. His offense was slightly better in the playoffs as a 3rd option, he’d be 4th here. His defense while isn’t as good as jrues but it’s pretty damn good.

You know what, this is a pretty good trade! We get a great defensive guard in Marcus Smart and get rid of Pat Connaughton’s horrible contract. We might even be able to replace Bobby in the draft if we could get someone like Ware. The only question is, would the Grizzlies do this?

Unfortunately Bucks can’t aggregate salaries in trades, plus Watanabe isn’t playing in the NBA next season. Great effort though.

If that’s what it takes to offload Pat and Bobby I’m in, Bobby might fetch more but you’ve got to get Pat off the books and packaging might be the best option

I think Yuta is playing in Japan next season.

I also am still dreaming the Bucks can find a way to get a 3 and D guy for that starting spot between Lillard and Middleton. They tried getting a guy who brought the 3 and tried to teach the D, that didn’t work. I guess they could try the reverse with Smart, but I hope to find a guy like KCP, or even better, just sign KCP somehow.

  7. There is a 0.00% chance the grizzlies can’t get more than this for smart elsewhere
