Many know I’ve posted about KP in the past and seeing a game like tonight just hurts. Yes he didn’t fit the rebuild timeline. Yes he had leverage over us forcing us to S&T if we wanted him gone. Yes we had to rebuild with how trash Beal’s contract was. But this is a player who should have been a Wizard for life. If I was GM I know I would have signed him to a similar contract I did in 2K in the attached picture and I would have stood by it 100%.
A great guy, great teammate, and beyond great player when it most counts.

If his calf strain had actually been an achilles tear like everyone feared at first then that would have been it for his career and then you’re stuck paying “Wizard for life” KP over $228m by the look of your 2K screenshot
