James Harden wants to be remembered as a WINNER? Really?
now let me get to James Harden real quick because the three-time NBA scoring champion 10 time NBA Allstar and 2017 2018 League MVP spoke just the other day ladies and gentlemen everything that I just said about him those are regular season ales the postseason is an entirely different matter his resume has just one finals appearance back in 2012 the year he was Sixth Man of the Year while with the Oklahoma City Thunder plan alongside Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook now why do I bring all of this up well Harden recently did an interview with basket news where he discussed his legacy and how he wants to be remembered take a listen how do you hope the players and these fans outside how do you want them to remember you after you finish what what do you want to them think about James Harden’s name um that I was a winner that I was a teacher you know I mean that I I had a different love for the game you know I mean like put the money side I really enjoy and love the game of basketball and playing it so whether it’s you know being with the kids you know here or you know when I travel you know other places in Europe when I go to China um I just want you know people to understand and and understand how much I really love and enjoy the game of basketball I hate having to tackle this subject because I’m fond to James Harden he is a three-time NBA scoring champion uh he is one of the prolific scorers the game has ever seen uh he was unguardable one-on-one for many years in some people’s eyes still for the most part unguardable right now but here’s the reality when he went to the finals in 2012 against the Miami Heat he was a no-show it was an apbi out for him couldn’t find him anywhere not even in South Beach when he goes to Houston there were a few games in the postseason where deare we say the James Harden the tacular James Harden that we saw during the regular season didn’t show up particularly in a closeout game six against the San Antonio Spurs where he barely wanted to shoot the basketball other times where he just wasn’t efficient and effective a game seven against the Golden State Warriors where he didn’t have CP3 but they collectively the Houston Rocket shot like one for 27 from three-point range there’s a bevy of evidence against James Harden forced his way out of Houston forced his way out of Brooklyn forced his way out of Philadelphia now in some instances he left money on the table in one instance he swears up and down he was lied to by Daryl Mory the president of the basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76s I get all of that but in the end here’s the reality as great as James Harden is there are two things that come associated with his name as prominently as anything else number one he’s never won a chip never won a championship and number two he has been accused of quitting on numerous occasions when those two things are on your resume or those two things are speculated about you you can’t go on an interview and talk about how you want to be seen as a winner and dedication and all of doesn’t doesn’t Vibe it just doesn’t Vibe he’s a free agent he’s still an All-Star caliber player although he’s not what he used to be but when you say something like that with looking for evidence that says you are those things and we don’t have anything that says that about James Harden winner teacher he said both things when that happened I know he can teach he’s knowledgeable enough to teach but where’s the evidence of somebody that actually learned learned from him in a very positive fashion y’all know the answer to that question I hate to say that because I don’t root against them at all I don’t root against anybody really but especially not him but I can’t defend that I just can’t

Overrated 💯👎🏾
He says, "Put the 💰 aside." 😄 All the dude has ever done in his career is play for the 💰 and had always prioritized it over winning. What he's gonna be remembered for if he doesn't ever win a chip is having an atrocious post-season career AND being a drama queen when things don't work out and then forcing his way out of 3 teams! Facts 💯
Harden will be remembered as a the biggest choker in NBA history, lil baby boyfriend, fat suit, strip club fan, fake injuries to avoid games, locker room cancer, and above all the most delusional player ever.
Strip club champion. He’s a millionaire superstar for sure
Won nothing, not a winner period
I was a James Harden fan! What I remember is him not being in shape starting the season. I remember him as not showing up during the playoffs! No show in the post-season!
James harden is a scorer and a real hooper.
Why is he in the 75th anniv group again? 🤔🤔🤔
James Harden was one of my favorite players to watch, and I think he didn't get the love he deserved during his prime, even as a top 3 MVP candidate for 4 straight years, he got tons of hate because of his 3-pt step back. I'll always have love for James Harden, but dammit, even I can't call him a winner.
Remember when he used to be a shadow coming off the bench in his early thunder years…yup we gave him s chance of stardom but he been blew it in Houston
This wastemam will never criticise people he likes example lillard always up his arse this guy is a twin of skip batless
A winner? The guy that came fat from offseasons because I didn’t felt like playing for his teams? Imagine if lebron had this attitude?? For a decade he was playing with bums and carrying them to finals still… harden is not a winner, just a ball hog
James Harden gonna be remembered as the guy that just got fouled as I made this comment.
He never said I wanna be remembered as a champion. A winner is different than a champ. He is definitely a winner in this sport
The disconnect between how some of these guys act and how they want to be perceived is stunning
Lmao, everyone in America had the same reaction. Huh???!!! Lol
Who cares Stephen A he still is a sure fire 1st ballot hall of famer. While you will be forever sitting on tv talking about the same exact ppl that you deep down wish u could be 💯
Lets not act like Joel Embiid didnt learn from James Harden Now. Lets still be aware n give credit where its due.
Really James Harden people gone remember you as a quieter when pressure on he can’t show up. Than he don’t get his way he wants to leave every team he play on. Like dude stop it🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾
I know people who are certain he gets paid to throw games in the playoffs with all of his choked playoff series and honestly I wouldn’t count it out 😂
That résumé says he's a winner 🏆, so the sixth man on a championship team doesn't have that résumé. So is that player considered a winner? 🤔 #Basketball #Debate #Sports
Watching Luka play, I realized he’s more like a less athletic Houston James Harden. His game is effective yet predictable. He’s gonna attack the opposing teams perceived worst defender on offense, and on defense he’s gonna guard the teams worst offensive player 😂
Tyrese Maxey said James harden was a big help and thought him some good things.. so there’s one 😬
Literally last thing Harden will be remembered for 😂
Do a segment on lonzo ball
James Harden Disappears More Than A Deadbeat Dad
When you’ve been on that many teams, and never won a championship after being on like 3 separate super teams they’re not going to remember you as a winner. OKC with 2 future MVPS, Nets with KD and Kyrie, 76ers with Tyreses and Embiid. And Rockets with CP3 were really good as well. Hes had some of the greatest teammates and teams and it hasn’t translated to a championship.
Anybody that gets into the NBA is a winner, because a million others wanted to, and he did it
Anyone who becomes a star in the NBA is very special.
Players that win the MVP are legends.
It's all relative. Compared to Jordan and Kobe be might look bad. But he is definitely a winner.
Remember for being in the clubs with Lil baby
Idk what to say about James Harden…other than he IS NOT a winner;
His 30s haven't been kind but you all ride Kyrie for aiming to be a career #2. Kyrie always finds a new boo aka all time great player to go up under to hide from the pressure of being a #1. And when Kyrie is a #1, he falls in his face and so does his team. As for Harden,Instead of being up under a LeBron, he BATTLED him. His Houston teams were very good and his #s were crazy. In the loaded West by the way. Yeah they chocked but in 18 Houston was dominating the KD version of GS. Yes, he's a winner.
i mean if hes going to be rememberd for anything it will be the beard…
Here we go again, stop the black man money! But what’s up with Haywood?? SAS ur a joke.
Harden is always choking in the playoffs.
He's going to be remembered for having the ugliest shoes
More like a weaner
He is a winner, just not a champion. He's done things your favorite player hasnt done, never missed the playoffs. Hes also choked more than your favorite player. He's a winner. Not a champ.
Was melo a winner?
Allen Iverson?
Barkley?
Tmac?
Vince carter?
He’s not a winner but a first ballot HOF’er? Make it make sense. He’s come up short in the playoffs for sure but his ability and stats speak for themselves. The playoff failures stop him from being in the Top 20-25 but you gotta be smoking dust to not give this man the credit for being one of the top 75 of all time. He fell short like some of our favorite legends.
Peyton Manning wasn’t Peyton Manning most times they needed him in the playoffs but he’s still one of the greatest QBs I’ve ever seen.
Maxey said he learned a lot from Harden too
