hard to argue with any of that 21 points off Dallas turnovers tonight that’s uh minus 9 for them and the margin of the game was seven again almost nothing off their bench offensively and you know sometimes venue can change things but you wonder what Jason kid’s options are in terms of you know a different deployment a different rotation I don’t know well first you know I said this earlier starts with belief uh 9495 we were down 02 got swept 2006 we were down 02 Miami versus Dallas Pat came in and showed us a movie Glory Road uh me and dwade had our first argument I had to revert to being an other and letting him go to work uh the others we we had a meeting and we like one game at a time we believe that we can beat him cuz I wasn’t playing well was shooting free throws definitely was you know wasn’t the Sha anymore but I can give you 1820 but collectively with Antoine and posy and know Gary Peyton and way chuck all those guys we still had enough juice to get four wins in a row so it starts with the belief and uh again it’s hard it’s going to be difficult but for them they just have to focus on game three and they have to say hey I’m getting game three the others have to play well and others usually do play well at home Kyrie has to play well Luca has to play well the city has to be behind them because this is a champ for chance for them to get another championship it’s all there for the taking but if you don’t believe if you have any doubts you might as well get them brooms out right now 13 for 53 from three is not going to get it from them they got to be them knock down shots um they’re not getting easy shots and I think also defensively this is what team we were talking about after the trade one of the best defensive teams they’re not been able to get stops when they want to I think also on that defensive end Luca has to give him a little bit more there’s about six plays where he’s giv up easy Lanes where it’s getting they’re getting broke down and they’re getting easy shots also Maxi ker is a guy that they’re targeting as well so they’re going have to find a way to keep guys in front of them also make some shots and they can’t make free throw as well so the shooting department has been real bad for the Mavericks you sometimes this is not the first time sometimes it feels like Luca is tired on the defensive end and makes lazy plays and that that was true in some of the turnovers as well where he just kind of gave up on a possession and and I know it’s an enormous load he’s carrying offensively it feels like we’re seeing the effects of that well at times the body language tonight he looked fatigued he looked tired he looked exhausted and he’s you know had to to carry the low do so much I mean they don’t you know they don’t score offense through running plays right they put the ball in his hands and uh and expect him to to to go one-on-one or create opportunities for himself or his teammates look I’m not making excuses but he has shown us first of all in his playoffs that he can play defense and he’s taken in that challenge but you know if they’re picking on you every time on the defensive end and now you have to come down on the offensive end you know that that that’s not easy and uh and so but he’s going to have to find a way but look Smitty said they’re not making shots they don’t have enough people who can create opportunities you know Luca can create opportunities is as good as anyone Kyrie Irving can create opportunities he hasn’t been uh Sensational he’s just been okay but no one else on this roster can create and if you look on the flip side of Boston obviously Jaylen Brown Tatum uh but you see holiday he can make plays Derek white can make plays porzingis we saw that in in game one they just gave him the ball and he’s you know able to make a play even if it’s just shooting over a smaller Defender so you got multiple guys even you know even pton Pritchard can come in the game and make a play but Derek Jones Jr uh J Washington Gafford uh Lively like Hardy these guys aren’t guys that are going to go out and make plays so mostly dependent on Luca to set them up to do something and look I think of Shaq and Kobe who were two guys and they had guys around them but they were so good the two of them that they could lift the team not only playing Sensational scoring a lot of points but then also forcing uh you to double team them and now creating for their teammates Dallas hasn’t figured out how to do that in this series and and the question is can they can they against this defense get greatness from their two stars and also create for others and and if I’m Jason kid I got to give Tim Hardway Jr a look I was just going to mention him because that seems like the other option maybe they’re maybe they’re just out of the Tim Hardway Jr business right now but it feels like he’s the one option on the roster who could create something for himself well not only create that he’s a shooter and you know if they’re know if they’re going to double my guys I want his many shooters as possible out there you know my team’s not shooting well now and but you got a Bonafide shooter on the bench I don’t know how his confidence is but if I’m Jason kid I’m going to him and be like next game baby we need you and you going to help us win it and I’m walking out and he’s a guy that can get hot too yeah he he sees that ball go through the hoop he can really get cooking he’s been a guy that can knock down shot sack said it they need more catch and shoot guys and guys not afraid of the moment and he’s one of those guys if I don’t understand why he’s not playing a lot of minutes what we shall see in game three I know either he played what 7 Minutes in game one most of that in garbage time uh and not at all tonight a dnp CD tonight for Tim Hardway look glasses a glasses what are they future tellers the future tells me this the last damn segment and I’m out that’s what the future tells me I’m not sure I’m not sure we’re quite there yet I think those GL
