@Dallas Mavericks

We REALLY need to pause and fully appreciate Luka’s passing in game 2…

He makes this shit look so effortless and routine it’s very easy for us to take for granted but there are probably less than five guys on earth capable of making some of these passes… and several of them I think he’s literally the only one.

We get to watch this dude play basketball every night… Dirk is and will forever be the OG GOAT, but Luka truly is something transcendent.

That’s the problem. Luka feed them with open shots but they can’t shoot it.

  2. The first pass to PJ on the wing… should not be possible. He’s trapped on the baseline, falling out of bounds, and throws a wraparound pass across his body around the defender and it’s an absolute fucking dart you couldn’t place more perfectly in the pocket if you literally handed it to him.

The last pass to PJ in the paint… is hard to express the degree of difficulty. First, PJ started BEHIND Luka in the corner. There’s almost no circumstance he should’ve ended up there. This wasn’t a case of court mapping—that was pure 100% reaction. Luka did the two things you almost never see him do: pick up his dribble early and leave his feet without a clear plan. I suppose he was maybe gonna shoot it, so to mid-air change his mind when he saw PJ flash (who wasn’t open, btw) and somehow put the ball in the only place it’s not a turnover, on pure instinct, is absurd 😂😂

Then the Exum pass… I mean, just watch it. The only thing to note is Dante wasn’t on the wing when Luka went baseline, and he never actually saw him relocate. He just knew he’d get there. There is only one person alive capable of making that pass… and Exum didn’t have to move a god damn inch to gather the pass, perfectly delivered right in his shooting pocket. lol how?

Brick. after Brick. after Brick. Again and again and again. It’s so painful man.

Luka is having one hell of a Finals so far. Injured, hobbled, he is stepping up and being a one-man offense (and yet folks at r/nba are laughing that he is being targeted in defense. Funny how the narratives surround only the 2-0, otherwise people would be talking about how more than timid Jayson “Aliexpress Kobe Bryant” Tatum is being carried by Jrue and KP).

It will take just one of Kyrie or PJ to have an above average offensive game for us to steal one. If both can go back to an efficient 20-23ppg, we could even steal both games at home and make this a 3-games series with Boston homecourt advantage. Luka is the best player on the court in both ends and this is hardly in quesiton.

I cannot fully enjoy the genius of these passes because of the eye-bleeding bricks that follow them right after

  6. Phenom_Mv3

“Bostons defense” lmao nah just wide open misses

  7. DeCyPheRer237

god damn i cannot count how many clear misses this team has had

When they went on that comeback game 2 Celtics crowd went dead silent…then the refs(Tony Brothers) stopped all our momentum

Has anyone else noticed how lazy Jaylen Brown is defending off-ball?
A few of those passes were Luka finding JB’s man on a cut or re-location on the perimeter.

It’s almost as if he’s too focused on Luka and Kyrie he’s not really guarding his man.

JB has been quite solid on-ball but maybe the Mavs need to screen him and then run actions for whoever screened him.

PJ Fucking Washington, the only baller showing up with PraviMVP. Hopefully everybody plays desperate for a game 3 win.

  11. Man really got 10 assist in a geme where other player shot 11% for 3PT most of those attempts was open threes. Crazy

Well, the Luka Doncic pass game wasn’t the problem. It was the fact he was passing it to the Dallas Mavbricks.

  13. AtreusIsBack

Best passer in the game, but has a construction crew for a team.

  14. PerformerLive8713

These dudes needs to make those threes if we wanna have a chance

  15. PerformerLive8713

Construction Mavebricks..and luka is the Foreman

  16. accedewithme

8 turnovers. Luka had a TD but dang. 8 turnovers?

  17. Tatum makes a simple pass to Holiday, who then fakes a shot, dribbles past another defender and scores a layup over Gafford: “Tatum is really doing a great job a playmaker, he’s sacrificing his numbers for team success.”

Luka makes behind the back pass to a wide open DJJ, who then bricks a wide open three: “Luka needs to get his teammates more involved, he’s hurting his team by dribbling the ball too much”

  18. BerryMango7

Gafford just clogging up the lane on the first play of the 4th quarter

What is even the point of this post, they’re down 0-2
