My guess is that this is signaling to Garland that with a new coach they’ll make sure to run the offense in a way that works for him too so he doesn’t demand out. Will it work? I dont know. But I do know that it doesnt help the Cavs if they are in a position where the league knows they have to trade him.

I’m not necessarily against any/all of the core returning, the problem is we need a legit wing. Dean Wade can not be the only 2-way forward on the roster and even when he’s healthy he’s not starter quality. Not sure how we get a starting quality forward without breaking up the core 4
