Short clip but Edey can kind of get up. I didn’t expect him to get that much elevation when jumping and his movement looks pretty fluid.
Not the same as game speed but he’s definitely not as slow as some here think he is.

His tape here reminds me of a younger Porzingis.
If we take Edey I believe in Dan Tolzmans selection of him at 19, I personally don’t think he’s more than a bench center.
The big thing with Edey’s foot speed is that…he’s not slow, he’s slow to start. Once he gets going he’s able to keep up but that first few steps is a problem when he needs to make speedy decisions on defense.
