Traes defense is ass but he’s an elite playmaker, true point guard who has microwave heating up ability. Hes an immediate upgrade at the PG position and this trade is not that expensive. We can’t just keep running it back, we need to do SOMETHING

It’s a no brainer if Atlanta sells him. You’re massively upgrading your guard play, adding a true offensive initiator & adding a volume scorer at the same time. Miami already have bad defense at guards *now*. And Tyler/Terry/Duncan don’t drive an offense and haven’t sniffed Trae’s scoring output. Upgrading from Tyler -> Trae is clearly a major improvement.
