I don’t think they got hosed by any means but I always wondered why they didn’t wait longer and get more offers? Couldn’t they have gotten more if they waited till the ASB?

It’s overblown how bad the package was (I’d argue it’s probably about the same that we gave for dame). The blazers took the best offer. We didn’t give jrue to Boston. Nobody gifted him (and apparently thus the ring) to Boston.

If everything in this playoffs held the same, the Celtics would have won this title regardless of jrue being on the team or not

I think the media is going to spin any outcome that didn’t workout for the bucks. The media is often down on the bucks unless they win.
1.) The bucks weren’t going to win with Jrue this year. 2.) Jrue’s success in Boston is because he has taken on a lesser role. He’s sometimes the 5th option. 3.) Boston is stacked and that can be credited largely to the GM. 4.) ESPN is garbage. Most analysts are extremely pretentious and/or they don’t watch the games.
