Seems like the kind of hire a team would only make if they intend to continue trying to compete. Although a PG trade is technically feasible, we should probably expect him and Harden to remain Clippers.
If only to keep him off a microphone.
Clippers would have a more qualified assistant than the Lakers at head coach with Redick potentially.
It would make for some fun interviews at least
sure, why not, i love it! Ty Lue gets himself stuck on the dumbest shit at some point every year, so adding any strong & experienced other perspective in his ear can’t hurt.
I think Van Gundy would be a smart voice in the room on the defensive end. he could help form a defensive identity even if he’s just repeating what other coaches have said. Sometimes a new, different voice saying the same things does wonders.

JVG could a be a head coach with tons of other teams, so hell I’d be down to get him on our bench. Maybe he could balance out Lue’s more offense-minded approach
