Jayson Tatum on his team potentially having the Celtics’ best playoff record ever and second best overall season: “I didn’t know that, that would be really cool. But, you know, you guys probably would say we didn’t play anybody to get here, so, we just gotta do it again next year.”

Jrue hasnt seem to regress much. Celtics have a good chance of the making the finals again next year

  3. Lmao heā€™s done similar mic drop-type exits during the regular season too

Back to back years where the champion didnā€™t have a competitive series

Haters have found a way to get the Celtics to band together, and feel like the world is against them.

    League fucked

Maybe we will see the matchup fans deserve next year, Nuggets v Celtics

  7. r/nba suddenly screams a collective ā€œwhoa whoa whoa we take it all back, the Cavs and Pacers were amazing!ā€

I love it. The best way to shut people up is by winning and they just keep winning.

Miami is gonna knock them out of the first round next year aren’t they?

  12. Will they even enjoy winning the championship šŸ˜

I think fans seriously underrate how good playoff teams can be down a ball dominant playerā€¦ the Heat, Cavs and Pacers all played extremely hard team basketball. The Mavericks have been the easiest team to contain of anyone the Celtics have played so far. The Heat had elite coaching, and a defensive scheme where they knew they could get away with extra physicality. The Cavs have always been a funky fit with Donavan and Allen healthy, when they went out, Garland looked way better and Mobley showed star flashes. And then the Pacers were just clearly the best offense the Celtics had to play even without Hali due to their constant movement and inability to miss from the midrange. Dallas has the ā€œstarsā€ the media drools over but they are so simple to exploit as a team. Kyrie and Luka are going to initiate offense, every single time. And you can attack Luka or Kyrie and put them into rotation, every single time. If the Mavs dont seriously step up in the next game and extend this series, I would honestly say the Mavs were the second easiest team the Celtics played, with only Miami being easier. The Celtics havent even played their best, outside of short spurts where they build a huge lead, but it hasnt mattered yet

  17. Leagues a fucking joke with this arbitrary conference system

All teams may only play who is in front of them. It’s not the C’s fault or any team’s fault when players on other teams get hurt, be in the NBA, the NFL etc.

A chip is a chip, all teams were 0 – 0 and when the season started. Injuries suck, we all hate them. I like to see the best compete against the best, but life isn’t fair, injuries happen.

The C’s and all teams in all playoffs can only play the teams in front of them.

I’m not a Boston fan, at all, but after years and years of them being so good and coming close, I’m rooting for them.

Donā€™t ever dismiss the Lakers bubble chip ever again lmao.
