Game Notes
• This is just the second time a Boston Celtics duo have scored 30+ PTS in a Finals game. Jaylen Brown (30 PTS) and Jayson Tatum (31 PTS) join John Havlicek and Bailey Howell:
o May 2, 1968: BOS at LAL – John Havlicek (40 PTS) and Bailey Howell (30 PTS).
o It’s just the 40th time a duo has had 30+ PTS each in a NBA Finals game.

• With the Game 3 victory, Boston has now extended their postseason franchise-best win streak to 10 consecutive games. They are just the ninth team to win 10 or more consecutive games in a single postseason.

  1. JT for 1st Half
    JB for 2nd Half

    Amaging team.
They are showing why the defense is most important to WIn.

It looks not quite easy for Luka to find out the way to help team defense.

  2. Jayson Tatum missed so many threes I didn't realize he hit four of them or had 31pts I thought he was like 2 – 8 from three. Either way it go it's nice to see both Brown and Tatum play well offensively in the same game in these Finals.

  3. Mavs fan here…no Porzingas, no problem for Celtics. They’re on a mission & my Mavs look baked.

  4. One thing I love about this duo is that they pick each other up and compliment each other so well. When Jaylen was playing bad in the first half Tatum was holding things down and when Jayson needed help in the 3Q Jaylen was there!

  5. Kidd saying Luka would be the greatest Mavs ever if he wins the title this season, media saying Luka and Kyrie are the best backcourt duo in NBA history and Chris Broussard and Nick Wright saying Mavs would win in 5 GAMES and the media basically riding the Mavs all Finals long to win, basically sets them to fail

  6. Jaylen brown would fold under pressure getting doubled team ima celtics fan and tatum is that guy he had the most pressure this whole series with the mavs defense ,while jaylen brown gets to play 1v1 ball haha😅tatum hands down is ten times better then brown and hes a more complete player

  7. They got size and athletic, can shoot, can create space, can defense. Remind you of Jordan and Pippen, but Luka (unathletic so poor defensively) and Kyrie (Lacking size so poor defensively) are more popular that's why they got mavs winning.

  8. JB since drafted JT since drafted
6 CF apps 5 CF apps
2 finals apps 2 finals apps
    1 ring & fmvp 1 ring
    Age 27 Age 26
    Celtics struck gold b2b drafts

  9. I find it funny how many times refs didn’t call and 1 for the Js and we still walk out with that win. Just shows how good this Celtics team is.

  10. Let’s be honest a lot of the media don’t
Like Boston and they know both brown and Tatum can be number one options on majority of nba teams. It’s just salt at the end of the day.

  11. If Jayson Tatum played like he did against Milwaukee in Game 6 of the 2022 ecsf more consistently, he'd literally be the best player in the league. I'm not asking him to load unnecessary pressure on his shoulders when he has a team literally equipped with the sole purpose of alleviating that pressure, but all I'm asking for is his absolute focus on the game at hand, the determination to play this game like it's his last. He showed that in the 2022 run in Game 6 vs the Bucks and Game 7 vs the Heat and last year in Game 7 against the Sixers and if he played like that or at least came into the game with the same mindset he had for those same games he'd be helping his team a whole lot because now this team that was built to alleviate pressure from his shoulders now finds itself with pressure put upon their shoulders by an inconsistent and way too comfortable JT.

  12. Luka is a godawful defender I've never seen a superstar so amazing on offense be so ass on defense seriously his defense this series has been G league level letting blow by to the basket leaving lively and PJ all alone doesn't help that Kyrie is small and not good at D either but at least he's trying. Even Carmelo was mid not bad at defense Steph Curry was a steal champion James Harden was a stocks menace in his prime. I love Luka but being this bad on defense will mean he will never win a ring. Harden and Steph played system defense I have no idea what the hell Luka is doing on D.
