I think the biggest “defense” which is just reality, is that our biggest problem every playoffs was half court offense. Jrue as either the 2nd or 3rd option is not cut out for that. Giannis and khris were almost unstoppable on offense in the 21 run. Jrue was never consistently good in that category.
So if you have a chance to bring one of the best shooters of all time next to Giannis for that, you do it. It happened super late in the offseason and the AG hiring was a mistake so it derailed much of the regular season. Then injuries hit us hard towards the end. Reminder that our big 3 played 8 full games together under doc. There’s nothing to defend outside of twitter gotcha takes. Still pissed we didn’t see a bucks Celtics ECF tho after all the shit talk this year
