NBA draft watch: Terrance Shannon Jr. Two way explosive wing.
TSJ was just acquitted in his court case, so I feel like he’s worth talking about. An older prospect who looks NBA ready and could give you good value in the second round.
i want to say innocent until proven guilty, but allegations are still messier than no allegations, so unfortunately, i think we’ll pass as an organization.

Wow, this kid looks incredible. 6’6, can create off the dribble, slash, and playmake. He would be amazing for us. Thanks for posting!

I would be thrilled to get him. His biggest knock is he’s about to be 24, but he seems to be the type of player that would fit right in on this team.

Judging by highlight reels only, he might be top 3 in this class. He looks way bigger than 6’6, crazy athletic, shooting threes off the dribble from 30+ feet, gets to the rim at will, and has plenty of amazing assists and blocks
Reminds me of JR Smith, where you’d think he was an MVP candidate if you only watched his highlights

I don’t think he’s available anywhere near where we are picking, but NBA scouting is weird to me and I’m often wrong.

Terrance Shannon looks incredible! I looked up some draft profiles and he’s not lasting until our second round pick! I just found out about him thanks to this thread.
Although he’s a bit older, I’m huge now in drafting him with one of our first round picks. He’s explosive offensively. His main weakness is he’s susceptible to being picked on in the pick and roll, but he can really benefit from good coaching because he has all the physical attributes to become a lock down wing.
In terms of players who can drop to us who can become a difference maker, I think this guy just hit the top of my list.

Dude was a menace on Illinois. I don’t know if he makes it to us lol

I’m not sure that it’s beyond a reasonable doubt that they should draft him.

Always liked him. But his shooting form irks me. Wish he had a higher release point and quicker release. But I’m down if Walt Perrin sees something in him.

I watched a lot of Terrance Shannon in college since I went to Tech.
Very explosive first step and improved significantly as a shooter during this college career.
He did struggle going right during his time at Tech, but I’m not sure if that improved the last two years as I only watched a couple of his games at Illinois.
