Very rarely do we get this level of a coaching staff if ever. Really nice to see the FO make moves like this. Few years ago we missed out on Kenny fucking Atkinson because MJ wouldn’t pay his assistants.

That‘s a good staff for Charles Lee. Brings in a lot of fresh and league familiar faces to match the whole revamp of the team. As OP commented with their previous teams before joining Charlotte (Although Matt Hill was an assistant coach for scouting under Vogel, he wasn’t on the bench).
Lamar Skeeter has been reported to be the lead assistant under Lee. Coming off as a top assistant under Will Hardy in Utah, Skeeter is more on the defensive side of the ball and has player development experience under Hardy, Quin Snyder, (Jazz), and Alex Jensen in the D-League.
Josh Longstaff is joining the staff as a Top Assistant, coming off a stint as an assistant coach under Billy Donovan in Chicago. Longstaff is another defensive minded and player development coach who also has experience in Philadelphia under Brett Brown.
Chris Jent was the lead assistant for Darvin Ham in Los Angeles this past season and is known for his offensive schemes. He’s a good shooting coach as well, so you’ll pick up a veteran coach and Shot Doctor (replacing Bruce Kreutzer).
Ryan Frazier is coming off of Willie Green’s staff in New Orleans. As an assistant coach, he’s helped out with player development and was a defensive minded guard during his college career. Before joining NO, he was a video coordinator under Monty Williams in Phoenix.
Zach Peterson who was the Head Video Coordinator in Milwaukee (2018-2019) and a video coordinator in Atlanta (2014-2018) hence the connection between him and Charles Lee. Peterson is coming off as an assistant role in Los Angeles under Darvin Ham. He also spent 3 seasons under Billy Donovan in Oklahoma City as a player development coach.
Matt Hill was an assistant coach under Vogel in Phoenix this past season. He was an assistant coach in Atlanta under Nate McMillan and Lloyd Pierce, also served as a player development coach in Orlando under several coaches. Hill will bring in a offensive mind into this coaching staff.
Blaine Mueller who will leave the Boston Celtics with Charles Lee was serving as the Head Coach of their G-League Team, the Maine Celtics. Mueller was also a player development coach under Budenholzer in Milwaukee (2018-2022) along side with Charles Lee.
Solid staff that Lee and the Hornets have made. After the finals when Lee gets to go to Charlotte and have a press conference, the official announcement should be made by the Team.
