me which rumor get you the most excited you wish was true like you could make this rumor true yeah let’s go okay all right um oh Larry Miller in the chat said that he had it to it was on the Windows 95 CD ROM oh okay huh 100 free hours of AOL and Buddy Holly by we and Buddy music video that is hilarious would you just would you pop it in every once a while and just watch the music video out huh yeah that’s so funny because remember when everyone got mad that you two was just on your iPhone or whatever I do remember I was thinking about that just the other day I was like what a weird time in our history yeah you just put up your phone and there’s an entire YouTube album and people were mad about it oh you’re saying YouTube I thought you said YouTube no like who is mad that YouTube was on their phone everyone loved that everyone but Weezer did it first first rumor I was saying YouTube I know Luke I was moving on oh don’t know first rumor opposing teams are speculating that the Thunder gave a promise to Don Holmes II for the 12th pick so I don’t need that he’s become he’s become a darling I think I’m in he’s he’s good he’s really good you guys I think it was you and Mel were talking about it and it got me I don’t know I I understand all of the drawbacks right like his competition playing where he play he’s dating right mhm not great competition so it’s hard to know how NBA ready he is but they’ve tried him out guarantee you if they’ve worked him out they trust what’s going on same thing with dub exactly at Santa Clara his I like his potential skill set you know he can pass well he’s he’s larger 610 and he’s one of those kind of bigger guys that I love I don’t know this is odd like Anthony Davis like not obviously to that level but guys that go from 67 to 610 and so they have more of kind of almost a wingy skill set yeah and then end up end up becoming just larger and can play down low and so yeah I don’t know if his shooting is real shooting I think 42% this year on on decent it looks pretty good yeah the shot looks pretty good so I don’t know he’s one of those bigger guys that I love yeah yeah that’s what you said yeah I’m talking about basketball players man is that crazy what are you talking about sure rumor number two the Thunder are expected to show interest in Klay Thompson oh no I I don’t think that’s true I hope that’s not true I heard you all talking about I on the way in was listening to your podcast yesterday uhuh I mean it’s intriguing but wait wait can you read that again the Thunder are expected to show interest in Klay Thompson expected to show interest expected to show interest it’s like the most non-committal room exactly not even they’re not showing interest they’re expected to eventually show interest in Klay Thompson no I hope that’s not true I don’t think that’s real I also don’t think that’s true what do you think Andrew it’s true I mean do you think are you expecting them to what does it mean to show interest like hey what would it cost to get Klay Thompson here let’s make a phone call to his agent hey what is clay looking for he’s looking for 35 million awesome you know that was showing in R ring ring ring R ring ring R ring so it’s not what do you think is true what do you think is false it’s what do want to be true and what do you want to be false we it feels like we’re kind of doing both okay we can do both yeah you get to decide you get to make one of these rumors true but also can we say it’s not true like like that’s a BS rumor I don’t but again the way it’s worded here’s the deal though they’re all rumors here’s the deal is the thunder have a lot of cap space they’re going to check on everybody because you just should any what if clay said like yeah I would I would go play for a contender like the Thunder for two years 40 million million two years 40 million like I’d do that you would I I mean if clay said that he would do that absolutely how tall is Clay 6 yeah he’s like 67 yeah you just go even more in on the I mean five out yeah and then you can also trade that contract so easily two years 40 million is he one of the bigger guys that you love listen of the big guys mhm I love him I love him uh I I feel like there a stretch like it was just a that was way more work to try to make that into something in a I heard it too when you said it so I course you did it doesn’t I can’t evaluate the the validity of or not based on YouTu I could feel Luke hearing it yeah I know I was like I’m just talking about like literal bigs in the NBA you got it dude you were right um okay rumor number three from a league executive oh it’s real oh very real and the thund the Thunder’s interest in Isaiah hartenstein yeah I I I hope that’s true I love Isaiah hardenstein it just makes no sense to me I mean it’d be cool I guess yeah why doesn’t it make sense to you I don’t understand why he would do it number one like you all nailed it your whole conversation the other day was it with Al mhm just he’s got a wife that’s a model in New York City damn he he he would come here for an exclusively backup role like even more so than what he was playing behind Mitchell Robinson because when you play behind Mitchell Robinson it’s almost a guarantee you’re going to start half the season yeah yeah he’s going to miss time and I don’t know I just that Nick’s team maybe they just can’t pay him and so that’s what’s going on but well they can only pay him a certain amount so the Thunder would offer him a ridiculous contract he’s great I I like what he would bring as a backup big and him and Chad definitely could play together I just there’s part of me that you’ve been selling the five out don’t change who you are so much MH it’s hard for me to think about a traditional big or a more traditional big and can hartenstein or har can he stretch the floor at all like not he shoots he shoots midies I was going to say he’s got like a midi floater that’s great what about cavon Looney he’s way more traditional than yeah than hartenstein is hartenstein can pass too yeah which is the differentiator crazy was hardenstein on the Rockets yeah he was was he the guy that Chris Paul not bagged for the okay yes 100% on the Russell Westbrook turn yeah I was like I was trying to remember and I’m like I think that’s the same guy it’s the same guy but back in the day he was like a laughable player and now he’s legitimately good yeah huh no I agree with you in my head that’s two different people but it is the same yeah yeah like he’s gotten it’s like oh he’s just really good now yeah yeah rumor number four Oklahoma City has great interest in Patrick Williams I would kick the tires on that one we get we poo pooed that when listeners brought that up earlier in the year mhm because he’s not he is not very good at least from what he’s shown so far mhm you just you’re betting on that one the Bulls have not been great for a while Patrick Williams has been hurt almost every year of his career which would also make him go why would we give that a chance mhm so it’s just another one of those things where if the Thunder bet on their organizational health and the way that they play as a team and brought him in I mean sure yeah just go get guaranteed Good Guys how about that yeah it’s I think it’s that easy that’s how it works yeah but Patrick Williams feels a need in that they need a big Wing that defends and shoots can he rebound he’s not a great rebounder and it’s hard to know when he’s playing with the bulls like V is everywhere rebounding he’s he’s a monster not V is that what they called vich yeah yeah big vuci vuci man that’s a good one hey put that on basketball reference I think it might be it probably is vucci man yeah probably I’ve heard it before I didn’t make it is about Clay is like he’s not going to be do think ever been in a war room for the Thunder I don’t know like on draft night I can’t imagine him doing that I think he that’s that’s one of like the huge advantages for the Thunder is that they have such a great ownership group that does not medal that does not you know try to tell them what to do yeah they have to get approved from them for a lot of things but they’re not the ones telling them what to do which is such a massive advantage and I bet they’re I bet they’re in the room though that’s I don’t know if they would be like on a draft night I don’t know if Clay Bennett is sitting in there I have no idea maybe when the Thunder had the two pick or something but just for like how cool this is and I would be yeah I would be surprised but I don’t know the answer to that that’s question if you’re an owner you you’re I think you’re going and you’re sitting in yeah and you may you may just want to know yeah you know where I would be if I was an owner during draft night Louis on the Lakes at the Jones assembly at theones Jones assembly with my down to dunk friends that’s right yeah what is it June 26th Clay Bennett will be there June 26th the Draft starts at 7 you probably want to get there 3:30 or 4 just telling you definitely hang out yep get ready start pre contenting number 12 have a nice Martini number 12 pick what’s the likely here’s a rumor I got for you thunder going to use some of their assets to move up in this draft they’re expected to consider they have their eyes set on Connecticut big man they’re considering Don consider Donovan moving up considering they’re no they’re expected to consider they’re considering to explore the possibility yeah of moving up there we go there’s one more there’s one more room and it is the most hilariously worded rumor one team that has been whispered of the possible as a possible sneaky Suitor for ogn and Obi is the Oklahoma City Thunder that’s can you can you just set that up and read the first part of it it has been whispered one team that has been whispered mhm as a possible sneaky Suitor that means one person said you know it’s imposs Sneaky suit sneaky a possible whis possible especially since most of this is probably done like via text message or email it’s like some executive you can whisper on uh some like vice president you can whisper on text for some team is like oh yeah I think uh it’s probably an agent actually it’s that just sent like a lowercase text message to yeah it’s like what if what if OKC wants OG and then the guy’s like o run with it babies OG’s not coming City I don’t really care about it he’d be awesome but also he’s more injured than that’s the thing which one do you want to be true which one if you could pick one to be true one true I’ve got to give it to the hot wife hardstein oh I mean that that put it over for me it’s let’s bring her over I didn’t know that existed I didn’t know I couldn’t tell you I just looked at their people uh wedding photos exclusive to People magazine oh really beautiful good get by people beautiful wedding wow beautiful wedding he would be super helpful she wouldn’t hurt either are you okay no you know what’s going on here you know horny on Main Jay what about you so I can’t detach from myself like which one do I think is probably more real as far as happening and that’s why I think the Don Holmes one probably is the one I resonate with the most or kind of like yeah I think that will happen uh I do like the idea of hartenstein being your backup big and and probably you can play him in chat together for some minutes so it wouldn’t be he’s just playing 12 or 13 minutes but MH I think I think that would work so it’s probably the one CU I don’t care about clay no offense to him if you’re listening offense Patrick Williams fine indifferent and then I mean I don’t think the last one for OG is even remotely true so well this is this is you get to make it true you get to make it that’s what this game is this is you get to make it the game is not what do you what do you decipher is true it is you get to take a rumor you want to make true you get to make it you get to make it absolutely I guess okay yeah in a perfect world it’s OG on this team I I like hartenstein too and I know you said you know the starters would still be five out but yeah that’s great you just have hardenstein Off the Bench when you need him play him more when you need him cool yeah he does have a good mid-range like it’s a legitimate he’s a very good midrange floer Zach mentioned hardenstein is like a like first or second team defensive player like yeah he’s amazing really good defensively you know what I like the most about him though I do his wife it’s not that it’s not that it is it’s that his name is feels like a combination of one of my friends names I have a friend named Hart dubberstein mashed together that’s favorite thing that’s my that’s my favorite thing now that’s cool yeah also do we have an accurate is it Stein or Steen Stein Stein okay yeah I I might choose Patrick Williams Oh when we all Z why your boy Andrew’s got a zag because he’s a one position of need 67 Wing yeah shot over 40% from the corners for his career he’s only 22 like 22y old forwards have a Runway to get better like I’d rather buy into that than pay I mean you’re have to pay 25 million for hartenstein yeah over the next two years for a bench Center yeah for a guy that is probably only playing 20 minutes a night well you don’t like Don Holmes I do like Don Holmes you could take donon Holmes in this scenario you could have them both it’s a little bit cheating yeah but you could have them both well then I want I want four to be true that’s number four is Patrick Williams no I want four of these uh expected you me be true yeah I know what you mean I just I just watched him and I just did not like how he played I know I just wonder if I just wonder if you rescue somebody from the Bulls which like window Carter has looked so much better in Orlando since leaving Chicago Markin in took off like a rocket you know there are like there is it’s not the best situation for a like young developing player and I think you could probably get him a little cheaper than the 25 million that we’re talking about for hardenstein but I just like the idea of just like taking a swing on Potential from somebody especially who’s 67 who plays the power forward position like that’s it’s a position of need like they they absolutely need a bigger wing and those you could wait for the perfect guy certainly he’s not the perfect player like there’s no doubt like he’s not the passer that you would want that player to be he’s not the rhythmic player that you want him to be there’s a lot of things to not like about Patrick Williams but the fact that he’s 22 he shot 39% from three last year okay I’ll give you a support of spin on this you know do you remember when Mark Jackson was the coach of the Warriors yeah and how he would use clay in Harrison Barnes which was a lot of post up back down fade away isos yeah for that and then as soon as Steve Kerr comes in which is a change for them they literally never play like that ever again mhm so I guess I can see what you’re saying now if I think of it in that context or use that example mhh I just literally both times I watched him this year I could not stand how he played yeah I mean he’s he’s imperfect there’s no question I just wonder what happens if you bring him in to this team okay maybe it’s not great maybe he doesn’t maybe he’s not a starting level player but I still think like the defense I like the the thing that is kind of like OG is that he has been hurt you know he’s only played one he’s played in His Four Seasons twice he’s played over 71 he in the 2122 season he missed a vast majority of the season and last year only played 43 games yeah so injury stuff is certainly a question but in a fantasy world OG’s the guy yeah I mean if you’re looking for somebody to take you to a true like title contender oan anobi would make if if healthy would make the Thunder a championship Contender didn’t the Thunder really like him like when he was drafted I really liked him Thunder did too they were just I don’t think OG reciprocated that like I don’t I don’t know if they liked him or not hey that goose is heading up to your door man let it in don’t let him in oh guest on the Pod don’t let that goose in I want to do not let that goose in Andrew this could be the goose episode what’s the goose Luke you’re bringing what’s up I need dating advice I am this this is where you’re going to get it right here the four of us about to get it get it says I am 25 just moved to a new city for a job and I am on the dating app grind all four of us relate I have been on two dates with one lady and now two other ladies have reached out saying they would like to meet up for a date I’m definitely looking for a relationship not just a quick hookup so this bouncing around thing isn’t something I’m used to also I don’t want to be caught up in the are we dating the same guy Facebook trap which can be bad what should I do thanks Thunder TF up you’ve only gone on two dates with this girl from a dating app I don’t think there’s anything official about that yet yeah I wouldn’t even say that’s going on two dates isn’t dating that person yeah right dating I think are we it’s like we’re saying if you guys have had the conversation saying we are dating then you’re dating if you haven’t you’re just going on dates mhm if it’s like five then I think you can start to make some assumptions well I think then she’s going to start definitely I mean there’s assumptions on both sides yeah yeah yeah but I think this is the other thing 25 I think this is I think this is fine bounc dude just do it do you not is there not a place where you can just have that conversation with her yeah Jay she’s doing the same thing right uh you would I would assume if you’re two dates in and it’s somewhat casual at this point like hey are we are we exclusive are we not what does that look like but let me try these other two girls you know date night out who whoa forward J I think I think that try these other two girls hate you guys so much I think that that’s fine and uh you know and or do you just do it behind her back don’t even have has she has she is she enough of your life at that point to I think two dates you’re very casual two dates it’s not even like the dates aren’t now expected it’s like we every every weekend we are going on a date you know it’s two dates you’re still asking the third date is still not guaranteed at that point yeah then I think you just just go out on dates with the other girls and if you get caught in the Trap man like you’re I don’t think you’ll get caught in a trap with this one though also if you’re 25 are you using Facebook Facebook is that what he said well caught in the Facebook the are we dating the same guy Facebook trap is uh that so the ladies have I don’t know if you know this the ladies have make groups to where they’re like are we dating the same guy okoklahoma City to where it’s like hey I’ve been dating this guy for 6 months here’s his picture and then in the comments it’s like I’ve also been dating him for six months I’m married to him hey you know oh stuff like that is that just like a open to the public no they’re all private cuz the ladies don’t don’t want the guys getting in there how about that that’s pretty smart it’s smart for the ladies it uh smart for the ladies smart for the ladies the ladies have the ladies far smarter than men yeah well that’s a given we could never organize no no we could not uh so I think this is okay but the other thing is this uh question it’s a few months old so they could be several more dates now they could be married about oh yeah we need an update yeah we need an update but I say or he’s got four girls like children now no that’s not enough time not enough time also Jay they’re women quadruplets in their 20s they’re women women I I’m really bad at that distinction so I apologize can I tell you what changed that for me what I got called out um by a professor when I was at ocu for a little bit when I was working at ocu I was saying yeah this girl came in she was like oh it was a girl she was like a girl I was like well no she was a student she’s like oh so she was over 18 I like yeah probably like oh so a woman said oh okay I get yeah and I’ve never I’ve always thought of that I know I messed that one up wow I had to asked that question I asked that of some of my more enlightened friends mhm I was like is it offensive like I don’t mean for it to be offensive but it feels like I If you reverse the the sex then it becomes really obvious it’s like if you if 18-year-old guy walks in you would say this guy you wouldn’t say man but you would say this guy you would say this boy I think you would say I would guy and gal be I think guy and gal guy and gal guy yeah this man walked in you would say guy guy feels though this this MF dude walked in this dude dude I use dude a lot I just did it yeah dude in the same sentence twice yeah dude huh all right well we’re going to take a quick break and then we’ll do some ladies okay I think ladies I think a group of ladies if it’s these ladies walked in be got I would actually used this lady walked in before I used this this lady walked in I think that’s lady this uh ma’am and we’re back from that quick break can I can I ask a question yeah when we say take a break we don’t actually take a break sometimes we’re supposed to no don’t it’s inserted after don’t let them know not always though is there an ad that’s one of my favorite things is whenever I’m listening to a podcast and you’re like let’s take a break and it’s just silent and you’re like and we’re back from that break sometimes it’s because the the inserted ad hasn’t loaded yet do you want me to text to you when that happens or just leave it alone you don’t you don’t need to say anything please don’t ever you rather a call do you rather a phone call email I’ll call email me can we since we’re talking about like kind of things that maybe are fuxa is yeah what about text phone call like you’re kind of a phone call guy I’d love to call I’m a phone call Guy all right I want to hear that voice I’m a texter what what why because it’s efficient yeah you know Luke we’re we’re in the minority people don’t likeone call phone calls I prefer a phone call I do too yeah want to hear that voice it all depends on the content of the conversation it depends on the importance if you’re just checking in if you’re just checking in or you have a quick question just send me a text okay people that complain if you want to touch bass and like hey man just checking in how are you and like like let’s have a phone call or let’s go to coffee actually I’d rather have face to face I’d rather have face to face text message any other communic ation style than a phone call really okay but if it’s at work this is what really bothers me is people that complain about this about work communication and they’re like oh I’m at work and this guy calls me every time he has a question just send me an email I’m like no I send emails asking questions all the time and have to wait three days to get a response no that’s not Happ at work if you need information call do you think there’s a do you think that you I I think think we are in a world where because of how connected we are that people assume that they should have constant immediate access to you and so I think I I think it’s okay for people not to get immediate responses from things sorry that I have boundaries and it’s okay that I don’t have to respond to your email right when you tell me you need it here’s if it’s emergency if it’s urgent sure yeah but if it’s just like hey just checking in on this I’ll respond when I’m ready to respond to it here’s you I don’t owe you any sort of immediate response yeah but it’s like okay I tell I tell people all the if I’m at work and someone texts me there’s a chance I won’t even see that text text messages are far far easier to get lost yeah for sure if you want something urgent or something that has a pressing timeline I think a phone call makes sense I tell everyone just I did that to you the other day I text you mhm and I don’t think you responded and then I called you maybe I just called you uh what was oh cuz it was confusing when I said oh I called you cuz I was in the phone too and or I was in the car yeah and in the car I don’t Tex the car here’s my argument I’m inside the phone Jay if I call you and we have a five minute conversation the amount of time and information that can be relayed in that 5-minute conversation through text message would take 10 hours because it would like I I messag takes you how to respond then I I respond it’s going to be all damn day yeah or a five minute phone call that we have talk about it it’s done and it’s taken care of yeah I I think so I want to draw a line of distinction between like sometimes informational things are easier that way I think if it’s a question one question with an answer like a text message Works especially for me like I give permission I’m like I will respond far quicker on a text message you know because the thing for me about phone calls is phone calls take they take time away from whatever I’m working on and I already have attention issues and so it’s like if I get a phone call it is like I’ve got to okay take a break whatever I’m working on if it’s content or whatever I to shut that down and then I have to and most of the time with me is it’s rarely like hey just have a quick question and didn’t want to send this over text here what do you think fine but most of the time it’s like hey just checking in what’s going on and then it turns into like a 15 minute like what up yeah so I just and I’ve never I’ve to be I’ve never been like back in the day when you had land lines and all of that I was not the guy that would just sit on a phone with a girl you weren’t falling asleep I wasn’t falling asleep on a phone I did that one time I got really in trouble with a girl I was dating but she was just like you fell asleep in the middle of our conversation oh no that’s what was cute was like you just stay on on the phone and then you fall I was never that guy like I’ve never been super talkative via phone H damn so I just was wondering guys thank you for help work through that there’s two things that now I’ve been enlightened about answer the phone ladies wh ladies ladies women no more girls just get rid of that yeah just don’t even use the word well you can still use it for girls just use it correctly I no okay call everyone women this is an All or Nothing thing for me this small woman lady this a small lady this young toddler woman you know you know the other thing you need to know about women it’d be shopping you cannot stop a woman from shopping that’s true that’s true women do shop Jimmy W TN questions you the argument against overpaying role players until it’s time to Max Chad and J dub well I mean it’s it would be a two-year deal which is what we’ve been talking about the argument against it would be that perhaps they want to use that space to acquire more draft picks and also like they have to get ownership approval to like use all that space too um so I don’t know I I I don’t know what their goals are with those spots I don’t know if they want to continue to develop the guys that they have I don’t I don’t know I don’t know the answers to all of that but um we’ll see we’ll see how they use their cap space this summer if they use it to acquire role players you know maybe they will so the argument against be hey the ownership saying hey we have big money coming let’s save money now yeah that could be the case I don’t know like we were we just were the number one seed and went to six games on like we were a foul away from going to game seven to get to the Conference Finals I forgot about that actually you know they’ve had how many years now saving money four um yeah ever since the Chris Paul year yeah yeah so it’s time the ownership seems to be comfortable with okay and this time we save money and this time we spend money and this time we save money yeah I I don’t know when when go time is my my assumption is like they cleared cap space in order to use it yep and that they will use it to get better that would be I I don’t think that’s a a wrong assumption there but we also just don’t know exactly but also you have to just be careful because you may not be able to get a free agent because you may not be willing to pay the years that they want or you may not be able to acquire a player because they might they have a three-year contract or a four year van vet contract for the Rockets wasn’t that a two-year like 50 million dollars or something it’s a it’s a big deal um but I think the years were short maybe I’m wrong about that let’s see how many years are left for Freddy he’s got three years after this so he gave they gave him a foure deal okay so four it’s 40 million next year 42 and 2425 and 44.8 in 25 26 oh my God so like it’s there’re the players that are really good are going to want more than what the Thunder can give them as far as years go because like that’s where you get yourself in trouble is like you don’t want to enter the second apron immediately whenever you have to extend Chad and jdub you want to be sure that you have like enough room to stay flexible because it you can get in big trouble really fast and so the you know that’s that’s also a part of just like not going crazy with the spending is like if you want a sustained team and you believe like you have the opportunity for a sustained team you don’t want to mess it up and this is this is why like you wouldn’t trade for Lowry marketing if you believe in this core mhm you know because he would disrupt he would disrupt that in a pretty big way now he may win the title in the next two years and it wouldn’t doesn’t really matter anyways and so maybe you’re willing to do it because of that but if your goal is to have like let’s have an eight-year run you know from here it’s really tough to do that while adding somebody who’s going to make Max or near Max money yeah so there’s and and some of that will depend on what what ownership approves and so and we obviously don’t have that information hey guys our next Twitter question comes from at okay man 918 who wants to know who Are we more confident in longterm Chad or [Music] jdb what does this mean jet confident in their uh you know ability to be a superstar or an Elite basketball player or confident that they will stay here long ter just confident okay so all of it okay I don’t understand Jay why’ you pick Chad what are you thinking because this question like I don’t know how do you how are you supposed to answer it I know that’s what I’m saying I so Chad has who you think’s going to be the better player in three years there you go thank you uh I mean God that’s still possible but Chad probably he’s a more unique player yeah that I think can be very easily impactful on offense and defense in a in a way that like you couldn’t you couldn’t even begin to replace the production yeah like it’s going to he’s going to be one of the most like unique players in the league and so like a big that can protect the rim like he does that can score like he does that can shoot it that can pass that can handle like this just just there’s going to be like three of those guys in the league and so I would pick Chad as well but I think the Thunder are going to have a really unique opportunity here in the next couple years to have a player in Shay that’s a top five player a player in Chad who I think is going to be a top 15ish player and and a player in JB I think could be like a top 20 player you know like that’s that’s how you win the NBA title like if you have three of if you have a guy in each of those tiers like you those teams win NBA championships and so that is that’s also why you don’t want to just like even like trading for like Kevin Durant or somebody like that like I think you really want to like nurture that core and like let them grow together and figure out like what are who are the players that complement them that are not high usage and let those guys grow together rather than like bringing in somebody who’s going to be more disruptive to those three kind of forming together because if those three decide like oh my gosh like we we wanton an NBA championship in 2026 or whatever you know whatever happens they may decide like this is awesome like let’s just like let’s keep this rolling for as long as we can you know and if that if that’s the case like that that’d be amazing but if you bring in Kevin Durant if you bring in somebody else well they’re going to be the I mean if you bring in Kevin he’s probably the number two guy as far as like scoring goes right away and so then like okay now is Chad the third guy and is it jadb the fourth guy and does like JB doesn’t want to be the fourth guy like it’s hard enough for him to be the third guy you know and so I just think you have to be so careful with how you do this I know we get like in these like fantasy worlds where it’s like oh my gosh if you just add this add that it’s going to be awesome but these are like real people that like job could be the star on a team you know if you called the Wizards today and said like hey what do would you give us for JB like they would give you everything for him you know I know don’t make it the Harden thing again they’re not going to I I think I just think you have to that’s those you’re right there’s so many other Dynamics just then like it’s not a NBA okay you know get the a roster that has players you know compliment each other on the court but maybe don’t care about any you know that’s how Daryl Mory builds teams so I think these guys enjoy playing together and I know that may not last forever but if the if the Vibes and culture of the team because what dub is getting that Harden didn’t his Dub’s a starter yeah he’s getting credit he’s getting people are already having big conversations about him not to mention the fact that there’s no question dub and chat will get the full Max extensions as soon as they’re they’re eligible for them MH so it’s like there are those those moments where you know like and I know that wasn’t exclusively what was going on with Harden there was a lot more to that but I just think that there’s a likelihood those three will be together for a decade because of what they’ve created as far as the enjoyment of playing together kind of thing so yeah and I think also something that Sam mentioned a few weeks ago when he talked about the secure players are the best players you know and having guys that are secure and like who they are and that starts on the top that starts with Shay you know Shay is like very secure and the kind of player that he is and who he wants to be and isn’t doesn’t feel threatened by these other guys being good and I think like that is so so important cuz I don’t think that was the case the first time around I don’t think there was like this like the personalities are just are vastly different at the top and so if Shay decides to stay here long term I think like he he’s just a great kind of ambassador to the other players on the team to to help this all stay together whereas I don’t think they necessarily had that the first time around so our next Twitter question comes from Cowboy germ asking can Jay preach about forgiveness to certain Thunder fans Andrew feels like getting KD would take some forgiving from fans but it would almost certainly make the Thunder the favorites in the west uh so I I don’t think Andrews is necessarily built on unforgiveness I think it’s way more of let this team get you know like there’s just the value of a team like this getting to that level without having to make that big splash I think wait should we have prayed in first probably all all of this will be uh all of this I think they in the back of all of our minds with this is the hurt and like well Katie doesn’t deserve to you know get his shine and his Reclamation story and all of that so I’m like I for me I’m like I just want to win a championship that’s why I’m all in on the whatever it takes kind of thing to get there mhm and I would most definitely be not the most patient general manager which is why you know everyone deserves a Salvation dang what did she say had to go to the hospital crashed she my mom is very good about stuff like that what did she say she said ow in a car accident she she was like she could see how embarrassed and ashamed I was so she was like it’s okay I’ll go talk to them just go to the passenger seat she’s very good about stuff like that I would have brought yeah I’ve never crashed again or gotten a ticket wow that’s not true I’ve gotten like 30 tickets I would like to have I I honestly like would love to have uh break in the passenger side oh like merky oh yeah yeah like that would make me feel far more confident with my son yeah yeah install one it exists yeah but then you know what would happen I would have to have it where it’s removable because then when my wife gets in the pass she’s going the house I did have a goose trying to get in my house this poor Goose was so dumb um we’re trying to chase him out of the yard and he wouldn’t fly and so we’re he’s just running around our yard trying to get out of our yard and our fence has um like these like I don’t know if you call them pickets I don’t know what you call them but like slats slats I don’t know but you can it’s like there’s like three inch three inches between each little slat and the obviously big enough for the goose to stick his head through and he would run as if he was going to get through it stick his head through and then his whole body would and then he’d just get back but we have we have like three open Gates that were trying to chase him to the open gate and he would just run past the open gate over and over over and over again and we’re just like laughing at this point like what’s going on and then he gets to this point where he just runs up to our house he just stands at the door and it’s just staring into our door it’s like what are you doing you were the dumbest Goose ever he wants to live there and so we eventually chased him out and then he it was right before he he turned around and flew right back into your back and then he fle he we finally got him out but he had to run past an open gate one more time do they hang out in your pool no no they don’t I we have I have like instructed my kids like any time a goose is in our yard you go chase it like you go make sure that there’s not have I told you a goose hanging out y Ducks laying in our pool and we’re like oh this is so cool no it poops all in the pool and then it pooped in the pool poops all in the pool get out no no I we were our family was all just like oh look how beautiful this is no and then I watched it just like shake it out and I was like get those Ducks out of the pool yeah you do not want any birds anywhere near your pool yeah we got bunnies everywhere so many bunnies oh yeah this is a big year for bunnies we got some we got huge year tons of geese Taylor you myff and peeved I don’t think so you J and beid yeah I mean my wife uh my wife wife broke her hand you know ouch so I’ve been doing all sorts of stuff I’m not used to doing as often as I’m doing oh man dishes I’m like we go through this many dish I’m doing I’m doing a dishwasher load every day which Probably sounds normal to you freaking guys but man I had to change every poopy diaper every single one yeah so much so that like sometimes we would you know not so much now she’s getting better she’s her hand is better I mean she’s getting better at doing chores Taylor in trouble you can’t you’re kind of speaking out of both sides of your mouth man no yeah and I feel myself doing that and I’m I think I’m doing it on purpose cuz I don’t want to we just need to move on from me yeah you guys you guys mythed about the finals you guys how you guys feeling about the finals sucks I’ve watched a total of like three minutes oh really these finals suck I’m not reorienting my life around watching it yeah but the other night I was home and turned on the last 8 minutes or so which felt great yeah I uh am not miffed about it I’m excited though because the further the quickest this is quicker this is over the more it feels like we’re closer to the fun part of the NBA offseason well yeah and like podcasts like pod your podcast feed is like basically only live reaction only reaction I think it’s going to go to Five though I think that they’re going to get the gentleman sweep which at that why just finish it off never going to be mad that you’ve put on some sunscreen I got I got sunburned like 3 weeks ago you would be more mad yeah I think a sunburn is more bothersome than sunscreen yeah oh yeah I’m peeling
