Spurs Moving Up For Zaccharie Risacher?

what’s going on everyone so it’s going to be very interesting to see what the San Antonio Spurs decide to do they have the fourth and eighth pick in the draft and obviously they’re looking for that running mate and that player to add to Victor wiama to help uh kind of continu to grow this franchise into a potential Dynasty again right Victor wanyama was so special in his rookie year there is this sense of like do we kind of push our chips to the table a little bit or do we kind of slowly build this over the years especially with the new CBA it kind of uh adds pressure to the Spurs even further in my opinion because Victor is so good out the gate you kind of want to capitalize on him while the while his salary is so low because at some point he’s going to be getting paid uh so that’s why you see a lot of reports that are like hey the Spurs are linked to you know Trey young Deonte Murray Darius Garland I Lori Markin and is another guy right cuz there is this thought of we should maybe kind of try to expedite this a little bit now trust the Spurs organization they are a team that is they understand the value of patients and so if there’s a deal there I’m sure that they will take it right there’s something there that makes sense I’m sure it’ll get done but there’s nothing wrong with going and drafting a quality piece but there’s even talks about the Spurs even in the draft potentially trading back and you know maybe taking say even just the eighth pick and using that to get to later first or maybe a future first or something and and a potential better draft because this draft is looked at as a draft that’s not very good draft that is basically kind of topheavy outside of the top five it just really has this drastic drop off um now again do the Spurs feel that way but the Spurs are all o linked to potentially looking to move up and imp they want to draft Zachary rizer so the goal for the San Antonio Spurs according to the reports is that they want to move up in the draft and take rizer uh the San Antonio Spurs are expected to work out rizer uh he is headed to the us to work out for the Atlanta Hawks San Antonio Spurs he is projected to be at worst a top three pick um there’s a lot of people that think he should be the number one pick and there is a lot of Buzz that he is more likely than not going to be the best player uh that comes out of this draft and I mean on the surface he seems that way I mean he’s 19 years old incredibly young he is uh 69 great versatility basically could be a point forward um he from Spain originally but he is a French player he was born in Spain but he is a French basketball player San Antonio loves the French basketball player players obviously Victor wanyama go back to Tony Parker right so this is a guy that’s looked at as this just very versatile sizable good length good skill set good IQ can do pretty much everything from making plays to um you know hitting the outside shot to everything so he averaged uh 10.4 uh points and 3.4 rebounds playing 23 minutes a game and shot 39% from three uh this is a guy that again is would be a project he’s looked at as a project he’s not looked at as a guy that’s going to come in the league and be you know 20 and 10 but he is a guy that is looked at as hey he was playing in one of the hardest leagues in the world uh this is a kid that looked very good uh he was you know a a you know a kid playing in in a men’s league and just dominating plus there is that that trend for the the European guys that come in with the skill set to kind of do everything very versal he’s also looked at as a guy that could potentially make an impact even on the defensive side of things right that he plays both sides of the basketball uh and he again has that good size and that good length now he’s a guy that you could kind of see being that other co-star that other guy that you know Rises the ranks alongside Victor whama plus you know you have the The French Connection um you know the Spurs are at some point are going to have to make some moves make some trades they they seem really high and and plan on keeping Devon vassel so if that’s the case and they want to keep Devon and they want to keep Victor and those are kind of the two guys in the building around then that means you know Johnson’s probably getting traded at some point and you’re going to need to replace him and also you know Johnson at this point he’s been coming off the bench for the Spurs right so like it would be nice to kind of get that locked in here’s your three guy now you have getting kind of the the pieces around right you got you know vassel at the at the two you got rizer at the three got Victor whama and his versatility which luckily he can play the four or the five so if you were able to land you know a a center somewhere right well you could always slide Victor over to the four if need be um so basically the idea is like okay you’d have Devin you’d have rer you’d have uh Victor you got basically three of your five locked up obviously they desperately need a point guard they really need to go get themselves somebody that can make some plays and make things easier for everybody set up Victor wiama in particular because that was the thing that drove me crazy and many others right the the consensus was like can we get Victor wh minama the basketball I mean how many times did we see Victor just like even just wide open and it’s like nobody it’s like he might as well not even been on the court it was like incredibly frustrating watching Spurs games and it’s like get the ball to your best player right can you can you at least you know find him make things easier so they definitely need a playmaker definitely need a point guard now again they could address that in the draft uh or um you know like with say like the eighth pick um unless they trade say the fourth in the eth to move up but um even if they don’t address it in the draft there’s still potential traits right now from like Cleveland cuz supposedly the Spurs are incredibly high on the idea of Darius Garland which he’s 24 25 like makes sense he’s young enough to where you know you can bring him in and he’s an All-Star level point guard that would fit kind of the timeline and youth of your roster so I that I get but there are talks coming out of Cleveland that one Donovan Mitchell is expected to uh sign that extension and two that they’re not expected to trade anybody of those core any of the core guys now obviously it’s June that could change that could be different but kind of in a perfect world you end up Landing uh you know rer and then go trade for adarus Garland and now you basically have your four out of your starting five for locked up and ready to go right now you got Garland rizer you know vassel Wim wimy and now you just need that that Center again power forward whoever right you go with so and if you wanted to however you approach it but I personally if I’m the Spurs if you can move up if somebody’s really willing to go and and basically let you move up to draft rizer one I would be pretty surprised because again he’s the guy that most teams are like okay he he’s he’s it he’s the guy right he could end up going number one even um so I don’t know I I I think it would be a little difficult because just so many teams are high on him but and so you know maybe Atlanta maybe Atlanta looks and they go and they take you know Klean and then you know say Washington takes SAR and then you get to the the third pick and it’s like Houston’s like well you know we don’t really need rizer because all we have are wings and you know we’re good in that regard so we’ll trade back and you know they’re willing to trade it up and then now San Antonio they can end up landing rizer and look again I like rizer I think he is makes a lot of sense he’s a guy that again can do everything he’s projected to be the the number one at worst top three pick a lot of drafts have him being taken as the number one pick um cuz again he could just you can play basically your two play your three be your point uh forward even if you wanted him to um hit hit the three ball basically again just be an allaround quality contributor that you could pair alongside Victor wiama Devon vassel and and now you’re off to the ra races right like all you need is you know your
