I didn’t read all that but I skimmed. They pushed for the playoffs last year and it didn’t work. They could try again to push toward the playoffs and be the definition of insanity as they push past the second apron.
Situations change. If they don’t trade Caruso by the deadline, they have nothing to show for him besides going further in to the apron/cap hell to pay him. I don’t know his next deal but it’s not $9.89M as the largest year. Assuming health, caruso should get a 2-3 year deal at or over $20M per. Ownerships don’t pay insane tax bills or repeat tax bills to maybe get the 8 seed.
I don’t think it’s cheap to get Caruso but offering 2 or 3 firsts, a swap, and some seconds would have to be compelling for them. However, I think a Caruso deal is more likely to come at the deadline once the bulls know what their team is and once a bidding war amongst contenders can occur.

What??? You mean all the people casually throwing in Caruso to our Paul George teams while also keeping Oubre and bringing back Hield and signing Drummond posts aren’t make believe?

The bulls are mentally ill.

The Bulls and Nets are idiots.
TerminallyTrill
Houston I guess?
They are talking about offers they received at the deadline last year not offers that are currently on the table.
The article states the obvious that the bulls should really trade him but they continue to do bulls things
