Feel like it’d be worth tacking on another year if it means keeping it down around 24M/yr. Would prefer a team option or partial guarantee in that 3rd year, but if he takes 24 or less, yeah fuck it I’m fine with giving him a straight 3rd year.
If it’s a money and/or role issue, that’s a whole other story. You can resolve the years, I’m sure they’d like to keep him till he retires anyways, but if he’s looking for +27M, or wants to continue starting, that’s where shit gets dicey.
