It’s interesting that this is basically a list of number 2 and number 3 guys on a title team. It makes sense. You have your super star player there first, and the star player has to deal with the bad seasons. Then the team picks up the number 2 and 3 guys needed to make the team great, and that is when they start winning titles. You have Dray and Klay but no Steph on this list, you have a bunch of 80s Lakers but not Kareem. You have Horace Grant but not Jordan. Parker and Ginobili but no Duncan. Magic and Bird are the only 2 number 1 guys on this list, but it makes sense given that they were drafted onto already great teams.

In the past, weren’t playoff series 5 games in the first series before the change to 7 games? I can only remember back to the Webber Warriors where Barkley got pissed off and kicked our ass.
