Pompey is a bozo who got shoved into a broom closet after Colangelo got exposed

Fortunately we have no scandals the last decade or weird shit with our front office

    >I know I’m biased as a Harden and Rockets fan, but I truly don’t believe harden would be (possibly) in PGs ear if he wasn’t truly wronged.

This is just one of the most idiotic sentences I’ve ever read. Yes, James Harden, paragon of good character and always looking out for others and never lying his ass off.

What is there to trust? Morey will offer you a max contract and you accept it. There’s no wink wink max deal issue here like there was with Harden. Only thing is maybe Morey trades you in a year if things don’t work out. Well welcome to the NBA that’s business.

I do find the idea that Harden, the guy who ignored all of the shit Morey has done for years and even benefited from, is now the voice of reason because he finally got scorned by the toxic ex a little funny. PG was only ever coming here if the Clippers didn’t offer him a max contract. Now if he stays in LA at a sizable pay cut or opts-in to his player option and demands to be traded then I’ll be surprised. I guess if he signs with Orlando that would be surprising too. But PG opting to stay in LA at a max or near max was always gonna happen.

Fortunately he’d have a contract if he came here so it doesn’t matter.

Sorry James, that Daryl didn’t follow through on his promise that was completely illegal to make in the first place, after he already got investigated and penalized that same year. Sorry it was too long for you to wait until the time you were actually allowed to discuss it.

Wait—a Pompey quote that doesn’t say “but at the same time”…? Hell must be frozen.

    Complete meaningless horseshit.

PG is signing his last contract. Period. Full stop. He is not worried about being “taken care of” when his max deal expires. There is no “wink, wink” deal in the works.

He couldn’t care less if Morey is Satan. He will go for the most money and if money is all the same he will focus on lifestyle or winning – whichever matters more to him.

The GM’s reputation will mean nothing to PH.
