He can have fun on the wizards I guess

  2. dangheckinpupperino

    I can see it honestly

The vision we fans have for him doesn’t match what he sees himself as. He wants to be on the ball as much as possible. How you spend your early years is extremely important honestly, with how the league views you moving forward.

Even if you have potential for more you likely get pigeonholed into whatever you did your first 3 years more often than not

Washington will give him more freedom. So would San Antonio

    sigh

I’m sick of this. Just draft him. Is he going to sit out?

  4. MiserableSoft2344

His camp is smart. They know Sarr would be fighting for minutes from day one in Atlanta.

  5. Good thing players don’t get to choose where they get drafted 🤷🏾‍♂️ Dell didn’t want Steph to be a warrior

  6. Ice_Effect

This gives more credence to the theory that he definitely sees himself as a pf.

He’d rather develop as a starting pf(which would be impossible in ATL since jj is better) than be forced to play center to start his career

  7. With all do respect…fuck em

Enjoy the wizards. That will work out well for em.

  8. Wavegod-1

Eh, still draft his ass at 1.
Another Bill Duffy client though. We go again, I guess.

It’s funny because he literally would EAT off of Trae’s gravity in PnR. Like constant open layups and dunks but hey I guess he see himself as Anthony Davis or whatever lmao

He probably doesn’t want to come here because we are trying to win and have a lot of established players. We aren’t going to let him handle the ball a lot, run the offense or take a million midrange pull ups. We can’t afford to let him do whatever he wants as he develops at the expense of wins.

If he goes to Washington he can do whatever the hell he wants because they are rebuilding and own their own picks. Letting Sarr experiment is a good thing for them even if it hurts their record next year.

Fuck him then, tbh. He’s a tier 3 prospect that’s lost in the sauce with his representation acting like he’s some superstar or something. Come on home Cling Cong

  12. Affectionate-Cup6191

If they think Kuzma and Poole are better for him then fuck him. Can’t believe some of you still want to draft this loser.

Doesn’t want to be center as if he can do anything offensively right now. He’s a bitch.

  13. Legalize-Birds

I wonder if this is his agent or if Sarr genuinely not wanting to be here

  14. Bully_Maguire420

I really wanna take this with a grain of salt but dude has gone out of his way to dodge working out for us and he had a weird ass look when we won the lottery, so fuck it, dude is a walking project anyway…

  15. Steph’s camp didn’t want minny and look what happened. Idgaf what you want. We do what’s best for us

  16. Zlolasers

pick him anyway, who gives a fuck, don’t give these guys precedent to do this shit all the time, league is already fucked parity wise as is…

  17. Tight-Possible-478

When are we going to stop letting these prospects dictate shit. Passed on Luka, Hali, and now Sarr because they don’t want to come to the Hawks.

Landry needs to grab his nuts and draft this dude anyway

  18. Chessh2036

We’re going to get trolled for this by NBA fans but if you think about it from his agents perspective:

Alex Sarr is 19. Wizards massive rebuild is barely one year old, they aren’t expected to win anytime soon. Sarr can go there with low expectations, grow his game, make mistakes, and become the franchise guy. He can’t do that in Atlanta. We need to win right now. Trae is the franchise guy.

I want Sarr badly, but you kind of get it. Even if I hate it.

  19. Ball4life6

Still taking him. Could care less about what his agent wants.

  20. justcallmeK

As a Tottenham fan (I know I love misery), we’ve finally seen progress because we started bringing in mf’ers that wanted to play for the badge. If he doesn’t want to play here, I don’t want him here

  21. Sea-Procedure-7206

This explains a lot of why Landry kept repeating that they wanted someone whose personality fit the culture. While I wanted Sarr desperately to be the partner in crime to Trae. I feel like if he is selfish enough to want a team that lets him develop into “the guy” then by all means let the Wizards figure that out for him

  22. I don’t typically like listening to any report with “Jake Fischer” as a source after the last year of dealing with it, so I’m going to kindly ignore it

  23. ArthurSmithNepoBaby

Such a loser mentality ngl. Anthony Edwards has shown you can be the guy on a team with a young franchise player already if you’re good enough. I’ve liked everything I’ve seen from Sarr but if this is true he can kick rocks
