That’s a discount considering cap space teams were going to give him 9 figures.

Hell yeah happy for you Kings fans. Glad he’s staying

Us magic fans in shambles. This makes sense to me tho. I think just under 20 a year is good value from the team side, and even if he could get a little bit more, he gets to stay in a situation that he flourished in.

Goddamnit can one team in the West get worse so we can make the fucking play-in

Oh so this free agency gonna be BAD. We are gonna have no big signings

Yessir, one of the most underrated players in the league. He flat out one the Kings games this year. So glad he’s back.

I thought he was gonna do the Bobby Portis 1+1 so he could get a bigger max offer from Sacramento next year with bird rights. Either that or just get the bag.

Turns out, he just REALLY wanted to stay. Huge for Sacramento, that’s awesome for them.

He signed for less than Dillon Brooks. He must love the city.

JUST DROPPED TO MY KNEES IN THE PIZZA GUYS PARKING LOT

  10. Got his qualifying offer rescinded by the Hornets in the 2021 off-season. Took the leap and secured himself over $100M total since then. You love to see it.

Happy for Monk. Happy for the Kings fans. League is more fun when Sacramento is good. Light the beam!

That is some amazing news for the Kings if he resigns. At the same time, why is it that all the fucking talent is staying in the West or moving there, cant wait for him to drop 50 against my team in an OT loss.

  13. Oh my god I thought we were for sure gonna lose him 😭😭😭 LETS GO!!!

Monk betting on his happiness over his $$. Smart man

Was really hoping we could have landed him. Though he seemed to really improve in SAC so that’s a very respectable move

Build this man a fucking statue. Rename Golden1 to Malik means Kings arena. I honestly didn’t expect this. We’d all have understood if he had left to get a bigger bag. This means tons for winning culture.

Just saw a guy drop to his knees in the Pizza Guys parking lot
