Dame is a one man offense in this league while Jrue excelled as the 4th or 5th guy on a stacked team. Imagine if Dame was a 4th or 5th guy.
Btw Dame averaged 31ppg in the post season while Jrue averaged 13ppg.

Yes he’s a luxury 4/5 option and can give you 20+ any night, but as a 2/3 option to be blunt he wasn’t complete. Elite defense but very very inconsistent offense.

I know Jrue wasn’t our missing piece anymore and we probably don’t do any better last year if we had kept him, but I love Jrue and damn if it didn’t suck to watch him go.

People don’t realize how hard it is to win a NBA title or even to go far in the playoffs. They’re also not seeing that Celtics breezed through these playoffs and probably would’ve won the Finals without Jrue Holiday.

Pretty simple – because the Celtics won the championship and the Bucks got booted in the first round when we are supposed to be a championship contender. On that note, the right trade and I’m happy for Jrue.
