Indiana’s Kel’el Ware Could Be EXACTLY What The Suns Need At Center

what’s up this your boy Flex from Jersey I’m here in the Four Peaks mini bar and this is the phnx draft prospects today our Prospect profile khil wear Indiana sophomore a center 71 with a 75 wingspan 230 lbs this is a guy that’s been mocked somewhere between 18 and 22 for most mock drafts and this is an interesting prospect that I think the Phoenix Suns are going to be locking in on so with that said let’s get into a couple of his strengths KH wear is a super athlete when you talk about L threats that’s what this guy brings to the table he’s a l threat he’s going to put pressure at the rim and he’s going to do some amazing things as far as the screen game and putting pressure in that picking role with guys like Devon Booker bradby on Kevin Durant uh he’s a little bit of a raw talent uh you know this this this kid has a high motor uh but this questionable motor at the same time so you know Rim protection is one of his strengths uh high potential is what we’re looking at this is one of the guys in the NBA draft that I think his potential is higher than what he’s mocking the draft but there are weaknesses every Prospect in this draft has weaknesses there are few uh that may have a little less than others but this kid has some weaknesses that we have to discuss I mentioned motor and I’m going to say this again a lot of people need to understand what I mean when I say motor um motor is when a guy has to be kind of revved up during a basketball game some guys have a motor where as a coach you love them it’s a coach’s dream you know this guy’s running down the court on offense and defense and you don’t have to encourage him to rev up his motor even if he’s not involved in the offense at times this is where I I kind of sway a little bit with KH we when I watch his tape there are times where he looks fantastic and he looks like the best basketball player on the floor and then there are times where he tends to disappear a little bit and there’s three four five minute segments of the game where I just don’t see the motor and the constant connectivity to a game so that is definitely one of his strengths uh I mean one of his weaknesses offensive rebounding is a weakness his defense can get a little bit better but he will try to block every shot and I like that he can get coached into being a better Defender and what the suns are looking for is Rim protection so this guy brings that in Spades and in the last weaknesses he isn’t a great free throw shooter um I’ve seen potential with his jump shots the mechanics don’t look don’t look bad so I think it’s fixable um but you have to acknowledge the fact that he wasn’t a great uh you know free uh free throw shooter with with that said let’s talk about who khil wear could be for the Phoenix Suns and who he might comp against with some guys in the NBA um there’s a guy in the NBA Finals that everybody loves that’s doing really good uh this was a draft picked by the Dallas Mavericks last year a guy like Derek Lively I think khil we fits the mode of a Derek Lively for sure there’s another player in the NBA that I absolutely love that is going to get paid this summer a significant contract somewhere in the 80 to100 million range and that is Brooklyn Net Center Nick Claxton so you know with with that said I I think KH we will fit with the Phoenix Suns you know the Phoenix Suns need centers you know they need something behind nerk uh this is a guy that can put pressure on the rim this is a guy that jump shot wise and mechanically shows that he can get to a point where maybe he can stretch out to the three-point line and I’ve seen him shoot the ball in the mid-range so he’ll help in that area and on defense just a live body can close possessions get rebounds U um and try to block every shot which which he will do so um I love khil we’s fit for the Phoenix Suns I think if he’s there at 22 and the Suns do stay at 22 this is a guy that I’m running up to the stage and saying if khil wh’s on the board he’s a bit of a project but he’s got really high potential and uh I think I think I’d be thrilled if the Suns can land land with Kare with that said this your boy Flex from Jersey we wrapping this up pH and next player Prof fows peace out
