Indiana Pacers Potential Trade and Free Agent Targets

Indiana Pacers Potential Trade and Free Agent Targets

what’s up everybody welcome back hope everybody’s having a great day or night whenever you’re watching this the Indiana Pacers they had a a pretty awesome season made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals and obviously won a couple of playoff series and all NBA player and Tyrese Alberton and it was really really good year but with that being said which with it being an awesome year they still came up short of the finals so now it’s how can we get over the hump of the Eastern Conference Finals in a series where with Boston where they really were close in three out of the four games and arly had a had a great chance of winning two of them uh but the inexperience showed and Boston clutched up but in order for Indiana to not repeat this they’re going to need some veteran experience they’re going to need to add something in the offseason and they’re going to need particularly to add to their guard forward combination in terms of the perimeter defense because they were lacking in that area and uh they’re they’re going to have to try and resign Pas cakam that should be pretty much good to go probably get his 40 mil he was awesome in the playoffs especially in the uh the semifinals and then the the Conference Finals he was really damn good so would like I would expect to see him back but you got to add somebody to it there’s got to be somebody else they need a third gear they need somebody else that can take the perimeter defensive pressure off and and can be just that guy for them cuz they’re missing it and particularly I think in the missing in at the guard/forward position so we’re going to look at three options in this offseason that I think the Pacers should Target and let me know in the comments who you want to see them pick up this offseason maybe who you want to see them retain whatnot but I’m particularly just going to talk about the guys that I would like to see them potentially sign in free agency or even trade for so before I do if you’re new to the Channel Please Subscribe if you like this kind of content please like the video but option one and this should be option A in my opinion they should definitely be looking at Mikel bridges that should be the trade Target that they’re they’re fing for he is everything that they could use per defense an Iron Man like I think almost every year in his career he played like the full season which is insane especially in today’s NBA spaces the floor can attack the rim and he’s the perfect kind of combo guy who can who can rim run too he can he’s he’s a floor space that gets active in open court that’s somebody that they could really use and he’s on probably the best team friendly contract uh of of the leak he’s only at 23 mil for this upcoming season and I think it’s like 24 or 25 for the year after he’s got two years left on his deal so he’s not a one-year rental but you know the Nets they’re going to have a high asking price that’s just how ridiculous they’ve been for forever and while I’ll say this Mel is not a franchise guy he’s not your number one option on a championship team but a number three with Tyrese Halbert and Pascal seak would be insane but what would you trade to get him because you’re going to have to trade to get him he’s not a free agent or anything like that the the Pacers they have they made this Eastern Conference Finals run without Ben Maan who Who as a guard I think has a ton of potential and maybe you know maybe you don’t even look to add anybody you just hope that mathine comes back and can explode uh but if you’re going to trade he’s probably going to be the main piece right if we made it this far without him what if we add an Iron Man that we know is probably going to be there at the end of the season in Mikel Bridges I think mathine and picks uh would get you a long way maybe a couple picks um You probably have to do some work on the salary just to you know even things out maybe you throw in somebody like jarus Walker who rarely played this this year and I know Pacer f are pretty high on him but that’s a maybe I don’t know what the the Nets asking price or value at least is on a guy like mathine but he’s like a perfect fit for Brooklyn in terms of the rebuild and he makes a lot of sense because he’s under a cost control Team contract for the next couple of years so it makes sense for the Nets to do it too but that would the bridges trade would be amazing and I A lot of people are talking about ogan and now and uh fun fact I’m going to talk about him in this video so if you’re looking for ogn and OB rumors I don’t see it I don’t think he’s leaving New York I would be shocked if New York let him leave uh without giving him a great deal so I don’t want to talk about that but Mel Bridges is somebody I haven’t heard about and I think he’s been awesome so I think he’d be a perfect fit but let’s get to the second option and it’s a reunion of sorts uh with uh Paul George because obviously he started his career in Indiana goes to OKC after it kind of flames out in Indiana and then he goes to the Clippers where he’s been there there and they’ve just underwhelmed over and over and over again he’s on record as saying that he would come back to Indiana I don’t know if Indiana fans want him back uh that’s a whole different debate but I think he’s the perfect fit to come in there veteran leadership dude that’s been there before he’s been in the Conference Finals he’s he’s seen a lot in the playoffs spaces the floor still an elite Defender can create for others like he’s an All-Star all-nba level player for a reason I don’t know how open people are to him coming back but he’s a free agent you wouldn’t have to give anything up to get the guy and you could bring that in I don’t know what his contract would look like what he’d be looking for of course maybe he’s probably looking for a Max or close to it as it’s probably his last major contract but that would be a reunion that would one it would generate a lot of buzz in NBA circles and do you you’d have a guy that that’s been there before alongside now Tyrese has been there Pascal seakins been to the mountain top of all people Miles Turner has now been there there’s a lot of things that are are in play there but I would love to see a Paul George reunion in Indiana let me know in the comments if you agree or if you would absolutely despise that idea cuz I know a lot of Indiana fans not exactly uh not they’re not really feeling Paul George after the way he left but I’m all for the story of him coming back and if they were able to make something crazy happen I’m a big Paul George guy I think it would be awesome and for my last option I think of viable targets for them it’s not ogn anobi like I said even though I’ve I’ve heard and I’ve seen all of that just can’t see it happening and this one this one’s I think it’s controversial just because of his off the court baggage but miles Bridges is a free agent and he’s like a three or a four high flyer can space the floor I think he could be a really good defender on a team that is winning obviously he’s been in Charlotte the last few years and it’s been Charlotte so yeah nothing nothing less to say about that situation so he’s he’s unrestricted he’s a complete free agent and obviously we have the off the court baggage uh if you if you don’t know about it Google it I’m not going to talk about it so if you can get past that and if you’re just looking at it strictly from the basketball side of things like I’m trying to do he’s a great fit he one he’s young his Market who knows what his Market’s going to be cuz he’s not going to be able to get a Max from anybody so as like a as a last resort like we need to add some Firepower to to get over the hump this would be a perfect fit maybe he’s only because of the issues that he’s had in the past maybe he only gets a $15 million a year contract who knows what what it’s going to look like for him but he’s the perfect fit to where he can space the floor is a hyper athlete that basically I think the best way to put miles Bridges is he’s Obby topping on steroids and that’s that’s a compliment cuz OB toppin had a really good year for the Pacers he’s a free agent we’ll see if they bring him back but miles Bridges would be like the last kind of three sl4 wing that I’d be looking to add if I don’t if I don’t make a trade for a Mikel Bridges or uh or land of Paul George or even somehow somehow pry OG anobi away I think Miles Bridges would be an awesome fit on this team let me know in the comments if you agree uh of the three uh Michel Bridges Paul George and Miles Bridges which one would you want to see most on the Pacers and uh yeah let me know in the comments it’s an awesome year for them and they can they have a chance to to add to some Firepower to this this offseason because they have trade pieces they have valuable picks there’s a lot there that they can they can make some make some pretty damn big moves with and instead of being the team that’s a five or a six seed can climb into that one two or three seed uh as long as they’re healthy of course but we’ll see what they do let me know in the comments what you want to see them do if you’re new to the Channel Please Subscribe if you like this kind of content please like the video appreciate y’all for watching but uh yeah that’s all thanks bye

The Indiana Pacers should be targeting several different guards and forwards in the NBA offseason. There’s several they can look to sign as free agents and they should consider trading for one as well. #indianapacers #pacers #paulgeorge #mikalbridges #milesbridges #nba

  1. As a life-long Indy resident and Pacers fan, I strongly disagree with you. I think that Mathurin may be the missing piece for us. He can be (and has showed it) a scoring machine, getting shots when he wants and has a high ceiling. During the playoffs, I often thought what we could be doing with him in the rotation. I also give a big, solid, NO WAY to Paul George coming back!

  2. I would not want Paul George back and I live in Indianapolis. I don't think he has what it takes to be a NBA Champion. Also I didn't how he left us and went to Los Angeles.

  3. Myles Turner had his best two years of his career the last two years. Having said that he had a terrible series against the Celtics–very disappointing.

  4. Pacers don’t just trade just because they can, they already made a big trade they gone run the team they built maybe sign a wing but that’s it

  5. They should run it back. Another year of continuity and internal development and this team should be better. The team plays for each other and the culture is awesome. Cap wise, doubt they go over the first apron. If they kept Pascal, Obi, and guaranteed TJ's contract, I'd be satisfied. They could win 50 games.

  6. Not giving both Walker and Mathurin . Even for Mikal.
Nets need a point and we have three starters. Makes most sense to trade Nembhard as we can spare him and will have a hard time resigning him. Nembhard and Smith maybe plus a pick. Something like that.
Miles Bridges make a lot of sense but the small town conservative Pacers will not likely rock that boat.

  7. PG will ask for too much… unless he takes a deep hometown discount just to play with his buddy Halliburton and try to get this Championship… either of the Bridges would be a great fit and probably push Pacers over the top as long as we retain our bench unit let either bridges play starting 3.. Keep our bench— McConnell/Mathurin or Nemhard/Neismith/Toppin or Walker/Isaiah Jackson..we would be able to compete with Boston

  8. You won't be back to the Eastern Finals unless more key injuries to key players. Indiana Is good but not in the same Tear as the Knicks or Boston. Phily will be better. MILWAUKIE will be better. Orlando will be better Cleveland will be better Miami is always a problem. Pacers could well be in the Play in next season.. Good luck.. But Let's be realistic about what you all achieved this year.

  9. Paul George is perfect. Remember Lance Stephenson came back they welcome him, Paul George didn't want to go through a rebuild so he left during that time because he thirst for a championship 🏆,he's mature now very good

  10. I like Mikal or PG. Miles would have to win me over during the season, but I think the pacers at least for next season probably do something like a Jarred Vanderbilt trade and see what Mathurin can do for one more year. Sadly I think Nembhard’s emergence cuts Mathurin’s time short unless Mathurin just takes that leap.

  11. The Pacers FO has no interest in guys like Miles Bridges. Well maybe the FO does but the Simon's would veto that in a heartbeat. 😂

  12. Miles Bridges would be an awesome steal. I know Pacers fans don't like him for the off-court stuff. But the guy on the court is VERY good and he's only 26. Mikal Bridges is a very good option too but the Nets want an arm and a leg for him.

  13. I bought an old PG24 jersey when the rumors started circulating of him coming back to Indy. Some of my favorite memories was being 12-13 years old watching him ball out with the pacers in the early 2010s. I would love to see him come back to the 317. Most of us would like to see him come back. The ones still complaining about how he left come off bitter as hell and we don’t need that attitude in this fan base. If he wants to come back. We should do what we can within reason to get him. He would have to give us a steep discount though. Overall, hyped to see what we do to improve!

  14. PG13 is a pipe dream., There's going to be a bidding war for Siakam – i believe he wants to stay but he's not gonna for a smaller salary than being offered elsewhere so he's gonna need something like Tyrese's deal. Even if you don't resign Toppin and get rid of Nebhart on a sign & trade still not enough room to sign George – he's not leaving LA for anything less than a max 4 yr deal. As gar as Mikail just about every team in the league has him on their radar cause his skillset is a perfect fit with just about anybody. THe Nets are going to have to be blown away with an offer. 2 or 3 good first rounders and/or an up and coming young player – like Mathurin. Pacers can only trade 2028 and 2030 firsts that are probably outside of Nets timeframe.

  15. Pacers, as a small market team is impossible to build a super team but finding one of the best play makers in the free agencies is very reasonable.

  16. I would rather see Bridges. He wouldn't come there thinking he is the man. George would. There's a saying " you can't go 🏡 no more ". George was there and he didn't get it done, so why take him.
