Our hero, King Demarcus First of his name, 2 League Champion & T1 Finals MVP has decided to continue his overseas dominance & signed on to play with the Taiwan Mustangs in the Asia Tournament starting in July. This team as you may know is also owned by Dwight Howard!
At this point I liken Demarcus' experience to that of one Bingo Long aka Billy Dee Williams aka Satchel Paige. I stick by my analysis that these fellows be it Dwight Howard or Demarcus himself are some of the most prestigious, largest name basketball players most of the people in these countries will ever get the privilege of seeing play live. Similar to Satchel Paige, Demarcus has taken his talents on tour to showcase his skills in markets outside of The Associations grind & has thus far had a great amount of success doing so. In these leagues he is an ambassador to not only our style of basketball, but by extension his alma mater & The Sacramento Kings, amongst his other stops within The Association. It's even open my eyes even further seeing these leagues & the methods in which they approach basketball & I encourage anyone whose a fan of The Game to tune in!
