    I think it depends on how the team looks after next season. If the Celtics have bigs good enough for him to have a smaller role, I can definitely see him signing another contract.

    Maybe we keep Tillman and he steps up to become a solid Horford replacement and Queta keeps progressing to become a respectable rotation player on a championship team.

    I was for sure convinced he’d retire out on top as a champion.

    I’m still convinced, just didn’t realize he planned on doing so post 3 peat

  3. Between Al returning, Tatum/White extending and even reports of a potential Hauser extension, I’m convinced I’m in a dream. We’re so lucky we root for this franchise. I’ll always be thankful my parents decided to raise me in Boston!

    I think he would hate to leave a championship on the board. He has money, he has his health. Now he can just secure his legacy with a repeat championship. Frankly I don’t see the point of him playing into his 40s.

    I think as long as he is contributing he won’t retire

    He won’t ride it out like Haslim, even though he was basically a player coach at that point
