"The Thunder at this spot have been connected to Salaun, Carlton "Bub" Carrington and Johnny Furphy, all of whom are longer-term prospects who would have plenty of time to develop on this roster. There has been ongoing speculation from other teams that the Thunder could look to move up the board, culling from their collection of assets to target a player they covet inside the top 10." – Woo

This would be a very surprising move as the Thunder seem very committed to running 5 out. Spending that type of draft capital on a backup center would be expensive and out of character.
Recently ive become a bit more interested with the top of the draft rather than whoever we get at 12.
Was thinking about either donovan clingan or even reed sheppard, another kentucky guard. Those always work well. Crazy 52% from 3, could give us a little more playmaking now that giddey is gone.
Clingan would be nice too but i felt there may have been better options that we passed on in previous drafts. Dont mind it though
Heres the thing, a lot of this talk of OKC getting a centre seems to come from other organisations/places but I think the indication from the Thunder side that they are very much happy to have Chet continue at centre. If they were to trade up I think up that high it would be for Sheppard or Risacher with them also having a chance to trade up for Salaun or Williams
I’m so tired of drafting long term projects that never pan out
Everyone’s saying we don’t need a big center but I think it would be good to at least have one handy when we’re getting bullied down low. I know we run 5 out and the spacing is a big deal but how many times this past year have we just been destroyed on the glass/inside by a big physical center. I don’t think we need to get a traditional center to start and play 35 minutes but it would be nice to have one in those situations in my opinion. With that being said, I trust whatever our front office decides to do
