Why hire a person who never coached before just because you played basketball doesn’t mean you can coach and we need to keep reaves on the bench that’s where he play better at

Collin Sexton would be ideal to lead the second lineup with a good defensive-minded guard like Christie to help offset his defensive weakness. However, the amount he’s being paid would take away from being able to invest in a really good scoring guard. So it would work if you move Vincent to the starting lineup alongside Reaves to balance both line-ups defensively. That’s the only way I see it working financially and strategically since the Lakers will likely be capped at $189 million.
I really like the idea of Sexton and Kessler. I believe the Lakers have the assets to be able to pull this trade off. Sexton as the 6th man off the bench, and Kessler to hold down the paint when AD is off.
As for anyone saying Sexton and Markkanen, that is out of this world unrealistic. The Lakers don’t even have the assets to get Markkanen alone, let alone both guys.

Nobody wants what we have and there will be no big trade this off season and we're not winning another championship with Mr. LeBron James so we can forget about it!!! Collin Sexton is a poor man's Dejounte Murray and Kessler is a poor man's Zubac. So pretty good, but not ideal.
