Until he signs an extension this will keep happening. Might even happen after he signs an extension.

If we were to trade donnie no way Danny G sends him to the lakers even if they somehow had the best package (which they fucking don’t)

  3. Nobody’s more delusional than the lakers fans lol might as well put Donovan for Bronny straight up

Why trade an all-star for a pile of trash? No matter how high you stack the trash, it is still a pile of trash. Climbing over Boston, Milwaukee and NY….and an emerging Orlando will not be easy but this roster is still good enough for a top four finish in the east.

That’s better than the platter of DLo, Rui and a lottery protected 2029 1st that Laker fans were suggesting weeks ago.

We get a superstar and you get a pile of shit

Lakers fans live in delusion. They’re not getting Mitchell, Garland, Trae Young or anyone with that package. No one really is out here drooling over any of those players or picks.

the cavs front office would laugh that out of the room lmao stop

I will never understand the “trade an all star for a bunch of mid assets.” We’ve never seen it work. Only makes sense if one of the assets is a young guy with the potential to become an all star (like Shai to OKC)

LA thinks the whole world exists to help them win.

Will take the downvotes but this sub has been playing “how many one-sided trades that pass the trade machine can we convince ourselves benefit everyone” for the past month.

Jesus what an awful trade lol. The NBA is about superstars not backup players and draft picks lol

I’ve seen a handful of trade ideas from other teams, the Lakers are the worst, but they always amount to sending us a handful of role players and projected mid-late or distant future picks.

    Why would we want that?

The Cavs are contenders, we made it to the second round and beat the Celtics in a game this year even with Allen out and Garland hobbled.

We’re not looking for role players or picks.  We have a team that has been successful for the last two seasons and we need to find a way to get past the Celtics to get to the finals.

Obviously trading our star player for some mid role players and picks isn’t going to move the needle on that.

It’s like I tell people trying to do fantasy football trades.  Stop thinking about your situation, think about my situation.  Figure out what I want and how you can help me achieve it.
