[Danny Emerman] On Joe Lacob’s stated goal of getting under tax and whether that’s still the case, Dunleavy said ownership’s ultimate goal, obviously, is winning. When presented with a plan that would improve the team, even if it means paying luxury tax, he knows what the answer would be.

   I feel like this sub is obsessed with getting under the luxury tax “because joe said that he wants.” I just don’t see it at all. Lacob wants to win above all else, and his actions have always proved that out.
