[Woj] The Knicks are sending four unprotected picks (2025, 2027, 2029, 2031) a 2025 protected Milwaukee first, a 2028 unprotected pick swap and a 2025 second-round pick for Mikal Bridges and a 2026 second-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

5 FRP is crazy , mikal ain’t even all that, OG must be going somewhere else tho I wonder where

  2. Pat Riley fight back please 😭😭😭😭😭😭

  3. TheRatchetTrombone

Holy overpay. I know you got to go for it, but the Nets finessed here.

  4. Survivor_for_me

5 first round picks for Mikal is wild. If that’s what he costs in todays NBA, Pat might not ever make another trade again 😭

  5. Market altering trade. Actual stars will probably go for at least 6 picks now

  6. Abominablesnowman8

He’s an iron man and one of the best 2 way players in the NBA. Knicks making moves

  7. TheRatchetTrombone

Grizzlies fucking mad and i see why…..

  8. Draft picks are more important than ever right now, and they give up that many for Bridges. Wtf

  9. iCOULDbewr0ng

    Massive overpay

But Bruson-Hart-Bridges-OG will be a fun team

  10. PlayBey0nd87

    WOW man.

Heat can’t compete with no packages like that

  11. TheRatchetTrombone

And yall saying make a trade, but do yall really want to deplete assets like that? Knicks needed another high volume shot creater, not a 3 and D guy like Mikal. What does this mean for OG?

  12. MediocreDVaMain

Knicks doing this accomplished two things: make Brunson even happier and they set a very high price for any star trades that could follow lmao

I like it bias aside, those picks won’t mean much if they keep performing, the core is pretty young but their biggest concern is Thibs mileage. That means OG is probably gone, bias and hate aside I’d love to see him go to Dallas because the fit would be seamless.

EDIT: The nets got two of their picks back, W for their rebuild I guess

  13. XanderAndretti

Talk about fleece lol, bridges is a good piece obviously but my god he’s not worth all of that.

  14. MargielaMan568

Jesus Christ what a haul for nets. But for the Knicks it makes sense since he’s making less than what OG is demanding and will be available for games.

Edit: Knicks have OG’s bird rights so they can potentially still re sign him. If they manage to resign him, it’s more over than we originally thought.

over pay but man the east contenders are getting better around us🫤

  16. RoyallShado25

Seems like every team in the East been getting the trade they wanted or needed except for us smh

  17. Headsdown7up

Brunson Randle Bridges Hart DiVencenzo and Mitchell Robinson … wow

  18. 😱

He’s a nice player. Pricey, but good get. Hope that means Brooklyn fire sale.

  19. That nets- Celtics trade in 2013 made teams be careful with their picks but once PG was traded for like 10 of em to LAC it hasn’t been the same

  20. panamaquina

Most teams don’t have these many picks to trade but fuck I think it’s a good move, OG probably gone and with a healthy Randle and Hartenstein they can definitely compete next year fuck. Mikal will probably thrive with this group.

This comment section is wild. Some of the most spoiled ungrateful fans in sports history lol

  22. No_Performance_5477

This just means Heat will never have any shot at Mitchell. Nets have like 13 picks to trade

  23. Huge-Basket7492

okay awesome. as usual we will not be making any moves

  24. Green_Rip3524

That’s an overpay for a guy that’s not an all nba player

  25. TheRatchetTrombone

Knicks still don’t have a secondary shot creator that can take the load off of Brunson. Mikal is a good 3 and D guy but he can’t be that self creator/playmaker for others. Plus, Knicks essentially 2nd apron themselves assuming they even resign OG.

  26. Sorry_duuude

Overpay but I like the move for them. Some outer pieces and they’ll round out nice. We need to make a move asap

  27. JZ_the_ICON

Bridges is a nice player, shit creator, and could be a nice 3rd option but that price is a bit steep no? I feel like they could have gotten a better player given the amount of assets they gave up. Although I’m not familiar with their cap situation.

  28. This_Material9292

Those picks are crazy.. but then you look at the cap sheet and see how reasonable all those contracts are… Man… wtf is happening. The Knicks….

    are…..

    smart????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  29. Dadecountyhooper

If we sit around and don’t make any moves, I’ll be convinced we are not serious about winning.
