Alex Caruso TRADED for Josh Giddey! Instant Reaction…

all right so breaking news out of the NBA Alex Caruso is going to the Oklahoma City Thunder straight up for Josh giddy so immediate gut reaction here absolute steal for Oklahoma City I mean Alex Caruso is one of the best guard defenders in the NBA I mean we’re coming off of finals where the world saw Drew holiday and Derek white take over the series these kinds of guys don’t grow on trees and Caruso is one of them also a quick side note I mean how cool is this for the Bulls like I get it at one point G was seen as the team’s second young star next to Shay and hey maybe he can become that guy in Chicago and as far as them choosing giddy over like a first round pick I think we often overrate picks compared to like semi- proven down but like we’re also talking about a guy here who is completely unplayable in the playoffs last year and has serious flaws to his game on and off the court the only question me for now is like what’s next if I’m Sam pry it’s time to go all in

  1. This is the final straw for me as a bulls fan, I’m gonna be a 76ers fan now(I really like Tyrese maxey)

  2. I feel the Thunder won this. They got better defensively, and Alex Caruso improved his shooting. He shot 38% of his career from three; he’s a way better defender and shooter, and all in all, he is a weaker passer, but Giddy messed with the minor thing, which is gross when you have all that money to ruin your career for one night with a minor. He’s an NBA player. What is he thinking? If she wouldn’t get out there, she’s either lying to get money, but it's weird, and the parents didn’t really seem to be concerned, but he went from 17 points a game to 11 a game, and his defense was exposed badly in the playoffs. The Bulls get an A+, and the Bulls get a C. I don't see Giddy fitting in there; I felt like the Suns would have been perfect for him.

  3. Absolutely the steal of the year by OKC. Getting rid of their problem child (pun intended), and getting an elite defender alongside Shai.

And honestly, what the fuck are Chicago doing? Taking Kiddey straight up and not even getting a sniff of OKC's war chest? Simply diabolical.

  4. It just doesn’t make sense for the bulls. We have so many guards already and lonzo coming back(🤞🏻) we need to get bigger and elite shooting. I’m hoping we can use him and Lavine for a package for a big name.

  5. I cannot wait for the season when people realize this trade is meaningless lmao out of nowhere a 30 year old backup pg who averages 6 ppg for his career is a home run pickup

  6. Bro it's not a good take. I'm sorry. Giddey played a 4th man role during the playoffs when he got minutes. He is best suited as a primary or secondary play maker. If they had given him the ball and told him to run 30 plays, he would have put up numbers. Both teams benefited from the trade. The Bulls now have a great young player they can build around.

  7. Everyone in the comments, Giddey is not that bad. When giddey plays offball, he is so useless, but when SGA was injured, Giddey went on a streak of 20+ point 7+ assist games. Im really excited to see Giddey play in a different environment than the OKC system. I honestly see him as a taller Lonzo Ball.

  8. Giddey value is at an all time low. He’s not a bad player and could definitely just need a new spot, but not getting at least 1 first with him is a huge mistake for chicago.

  9. Jokes aside I don't really see how Giddey fits on that Bulls team. Im assuming they're gonna blow it up but I doubt Ayo and Coby aee going anywhere.

  10. F for how f****d the Bulls FO is for trading assets for a guy who isn’t worth more than a 2nd round pick. At least then you could draft a character guy instead.

  11. Think it a dumb trade lose size and rebounding and ball handling could traded giddy for a Jackson Jr player with pics and slide j dub to the sg
