I don’t watch college, but I’ve been looking at his highlights, and I’m starting to like the pick. Catch and shoot shooter, has the ability to put the ball on the floor if he has to, and he has some hops so he can attack the rim. In terms of offense, he fills a lot of things our roster desperately needs.
Anyone willing to clue me in on his defense?

I hope the defensive worries are overstated. His offensive usage will go down dramatically which should allow him to put more effort on defense. Athleticism is there

Crazy. He was supposed to go 6-9 range and we got him this low. Defense is suspect but we have a wing that can shoot now. I’m excited about this

All the team ahead of us were rebuilding or took big men, Knecht’s age doesn’t fit with rebuilding teams.

His main fault is defense but by the looks of it his college only ran zone and put him in a very tough spot since we haven’t got to see him develop in man to man defense. His defense should improve hopefully looking at his traits to be league average.

Defense any good?
Anyone know why the slide? Couldn’t be only the age right? Just means he’s ready to contribute and would’ve fit perfectly on a few teams before us
